Your powers of assumption are correct, Andy. I still prefer The Bends, but there's no question (in my humble opinion) that this album is a superb piece of work.

I own 5 of the 1997 nominations Suede, Chemical Brothers,Primal Scream, The Prodigy and Radiohead, and Radiohead are the worst of that bunch. In fact Beth Orton is better as well just never bought the album just a few singles. It was generally a very strong year for dance/electronic albums.

That Primal Scream album is awful, I bought it in a sale, and got rid soon after, just dreadful!

I think i am in the minority of not liking Radiohead or any of their material at all. I find their songs so bland and dull that they make me want to fall asleep with the exceptance of one song. Creep. There is something about that song and will be their finest work of art and the song that will constantly keep charting every now and then when itunes puts it on their 59p hit list.

Well in my opinion, anything off 'The Bends' is better than 'Creep', and the majority of the songs thereon are anything but sleep inducing to me.
