Here's a really geeky question. Has there ever been a two-legged tie before (in any senior competition) where one side won both legs 6-2? If 6-2 wasn't such a difficult score to manipulate, I'd suspect a gambling conspiracy. After all, the odds of a 6-2 result once must be pretty extreme, nevermind twice.

List of World Cup matches where one team has scored at least eight goals: Interesting. I'm surprised there have been so few, to be honest. Only 46 times that a side has scored 10 or more. Quite a rollercoaster for Samoa in 2002. The heady heights of an 8-0 win, soon followed by the depths of a 0-11 defeat.

No team should be losing to anyone 31-0. It'll be interesting to see if they've maintained the improvement shown four years ago.

CONCACAF 1st round, 1st leg: Patrick Kluivert's international managerial debut ends with a win, thanks to a penalty shortly before half-time, but he may have been hoping for a wider margin of victory against one of CONCACAF's lowest-ranked sides. The visitors earned an away goal to take back home for Tuesday's second leg.

CONCACAF 1st round, 2nd leg: Routine wins for Nicaragua and Bermuda, who move forward to face Suriname and Guatemala, respetively. Belize and Dominica both edged through with draws. Belize have the Dominican Republic in the next round, while Dominica have a very tough test against Canada.
