I enjoyed the first show and how they brought Mulder and Scully back together.
Second episode was good too.
I have two recorded now to watch.

I quite enjoyed the first episode, at least it sets it's stall out, and there are only 6 eps. looking forward to the next.

I watched the first episode, I thought it was excellent, bit slow in places, but it tied up some loose ends from the last series.

I've just watched the first episode and quite enjoyed it despite it getting mixed reviews. Mulder looks like he needs a shave but Scully still looks as hot as ever

I just watched epi. 3 and was very disappointed. It could have been a spoof. It certainly was more comedy than drama.

I think some people have never truly watched the X Files if they thought episode 3 was odd. The best of the run were in that same comic vein: "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose", "Humbug", "Bad Blood", "Jose Chung's 'From Outer Space'", "Small Potatoes", "Dreamland" - all classic episodes, all take the p*ss out of the pomposity of the show as it stands.
Having watched all six, the final two were so poor, it was untrue. I've watched all 207 episodes pretty much back to back (across the last months) and episode 5 was the worst episode of the entire run for me. So jarring and misguided. The finale is more of the overblown, up itself tripe that the mythology episodes later became. Episode 3 was without a doubt the best. Some of you are missing out in not enjoying it!

btw, did anyone else take notice the homage to 2 producers of the X Files passed away in the cemetery, Kim Manners and the other I think it was David Burke. Quite touching that was.

It would be a boring world if we all enjoyed the same thing.
I like the X-Files episodes that I like, that's all there is to it.
I did enjoy episode 4, the Trashman, far more than episode 3.
Different strokes.

liked epi 6, but the open ending? does it mean there's gonna be another season???

As I've said there are a good half dozen or more episodes like episode 3, so you must have missed/forgotten a fair few episodes across the original 9 year run.

Just watched episode 5.
I loved it. I may be biased because they came to Texas.
Mulder tripping to Billy Ray Cyrus was priceless.

That's good news. I just hope there's more flow this time with ten episodes.
