I assuming their announcing these in increasing order of obscurity / irrelevance.

Carol Kirkwood now, my least favorite weather person - very dull! Number one reason for watching SCD this year. . Just goes to prove that there is someone out there for everyone I feel I am alone in my dislike of Carol, just like everyone I know loves Ben Fogle and Brian Cox but me. If Either Ben or Brian sign up SCD is a no go area for me this year!

I like you Natalie Imbruglia would be my number one choice, and as she lives in the UK with a new album out this is not an impossibility. Emma Willis as well - please please please!

Irish singer Daniel O'Donnell has been confirmed as the eighth contestant on this year's Strictly Come Dancing.
Mr O'Donnell said that he is nervous, despite his many years in show-business.
"It's really happening," he said.
The singer said he is uncertain if he is up to the standard required.
"I can put a few steps together, but can I dance to the level I need to dance? Well, that's a whole other ball game."
Earlier this year, the Kincasslagh man decided to take a short break from touring.
"I told myself that I would only consider doing something if it was both different and exciting. Well, what could be more exciting than Strictly Come Dancing? I love to dance and boy am I looking forward to getting started and being the best that I can be," he added.

Middleweight boxer Anthony Ogogo says he is doing Strictly Come Dancing this year because he is unable to box until December with a shoulder injury.
The 26-year-old 2012 Olympic bronze medallist was the ninth celebrity to be announced as a contestant for the BBC One show on Friday.
Ogogo underwent surgery after dislocating his shoulder in his most recent fight against Ruslan Schelev.
"Punching for 16 weeks is impossible," Ogogo said on Twitter.
"So this amazing opportunity has presented itself whilst I'm recovering from my shoulder operation.
"My choices were sulk (and) sit on my backside whilst rehabbing my shoulder or whilst I'm unable to box make the most of this amazing opportunity."
Lowestoft-born Ogogo is unbeaten in his eight fights as a professional boxer, but had not fought for 12 months before his bout with Schelev because of an Achilles problem.
He follows in the footsteps of fellow boxers Audley Harrison and Joe Calzaghe in competing in Strictly, while 11-time world champion Floyd Mayweather took part in the US version of the show in 2007.
"Floyd Mayweather did the US version of Strictly whilst training for his fight against (Ricky) Hatton, he's gone on to be an international star," Ogogo added.
