Am I the only one not wetting themselves with anticipation over this..? Probably not.

Am I the only one not wetting themselves with anticipation over this..? The TV News coverage makes it sound like the second coming of JC. Thankfully the first taster of the album 'Hello' is a mighty fine track and in some ways justifies the media attention

No big star has ever been universally loved. Even Jesus had his haters!

many think Hello will re-climb to #1 next week but I think When We Were Young could go straight to #1 on cherry picking + streams and replace Sorry

They should have at least made When We Were Young available

They should have at least made When We Were Young available I agree on that. As XL/Adele could potentially be chucking away a sure fire #1 single. It is by far the best track on a 3 star album IMHO.

obviously they only care about album sales, guess they don't want to burn WWWY so fast...

haven't heard the album yet cos now I only stream but not super crazy about WWWY, if that's the best, not sure if I'm gonna enjoy the album... for me the lyrics are very important and so far the lyrics for both Hello and WWWy and underwhelming... the line about the light and the photograph... ouch, cringeworthy instead of amazing...

I played through until halfway through River Lea, got bored and put something else on. I'll listen to the rest of it soon, but I was underwhelmed - Hello built the hype and nothing other than WWWY really sticks out.
Saying that, it took a while for songs on 21 that weren't the singles to really click, so I'm not writing it off just yet.

I've enjoyed every single track much more 3rd or 4th time around after being underwhelmed initially. I think the only way this albums faults is due to the unrivaled expectations.
On it's own it's a very solid album with more than a handful of stand out tracks
