Ronnie's currently 13 in the rankings (The Masters doesn't count towards the rankings because it's an invitation event) but he's likely to move up after the German Masters because Liang didn't qualify. I'll try and put the full list up next week.

Semi-finals: Martin Gould 2-6 Ali Carter Stuart Bingham 4-6 Anthony Hamilton
Hamilton's first ranking final since 2002. Carter hoping to become only the second player this season (after Selby) to win two ranking events. A win for Carter would move him up to 9 in the rankings. A win for Hamilton would put him at 37, having been at 66 at the start of the tournament.

Straight into another tournament tomorrow with the World Grand Prix in Preston.

I think that's exactly it Simon. Unlike the BBC events, I think ITV has exclusive rights for the tournaments it shows.

I think next week's Welsh matches will be available on BBC website and partly on red button. As well as Eurosport.

Straight into the Welsh Open tomorrow, followed by the Shoot-Out the week after.

Welsh Open underway. John Higgins an early 1st round casualty.
Interesting that the whole draw apart from the top 16 is random, resulting in some tasty 1st round matches, such as O'Sullivan v Ford, Fu v Gould and Perry v McGill.

A last 16 line-up no-one would have predicted at the Welsh Open, with only 3 of the top 16 still in:
Mark Davis v Scott Donaldson Zhou Yueong v Lee Walker Judd Trump v Hossein Vafaei Ayouri Barry Hawkins v Craig Steadman Stuart Bingham v Robbie Williams Igor Figueiredo v Stuart Carrington Robert Milkins v Mei Xiwen Kurt Maflin v Yan Bingtao
Walker is the only Welsh player left in the tournament and is one win away from reaching his first ranking quarter-final since the 1997 World Championship.
