I guess many members won't know about the Yul Brynner movie of the same name which was released in 1973, ask your parents.
JJ Abrams and his team has turned it into a TV series scheduled to release on Sky Atlantic from 4 October. I'm hoping it does the business as judging by the trailers it looks good and more updated, I truly love the original movie.

Most of us will know the movie as we're so old Not sure where it's going to go, once they go rogue though, or it's just another Humans, etc. I'd love to watch this buy dont have Sky Atlantic, except when Game of Thrones is on

I remember the movie very well first time around, also wondering how they can stretch the story out into a series, but will give it a watch to see.

The clips I've seen of this look great, really looking forward to this. Meant to watch the film again the other night, saw it was repeated recently. Not much else decent on at the moment so hopefully this will live up to expectations.

It seems to have got good previews, which I assume are previews? I may have to get Now TV for a month and watch this on catch up.

This on Man in a high tower are two things I'd love to watch you not got Amazon Prime? it pays for itself if you buy stuff online as you get free delivery on everthing and you also get the cloud music service as well which I have all my 50000 or so tracks backed up on, it even improves them so if you have an old 96K mp3 you can redownload it back as a crisp new 320K. The TV service is not as good as big as Netflix or Now TV but it is very good quality and has plenty shows to keep you going. I'm wayching Park and Recreation Series 4 right now and then it will be TMIHC season 2.

I don't have it, I don't like using amazon, because of the way they treat their workers, or the amount of tax they (don't) pay, so don't really like to give them money. I'm just assuming the show will be sold to someone else (Sky), or I'll get the dvd when it comes available.

Is anybody else still watching this? It's a lot slower than I was expecting, beginning to lose interest.
How's this show doing for HBO, I'd be surprised if this is the big hit they were hoping for. A bit disappointed tbh, had really high hopes for this.

I think once the series is over, I might just watch the series all over again and have a Westworld TV night over 2 to 3 days. lol It might be easier to understand it. But I think there is 2 worlds, in the present, the man in black played by Ed Harris is a younger self, played by a different younger actor.

Think my attention has wandered the last couple of weeks and I'm a bit confused about what's going on! I can't have been that gripped by it though, I'm normally glued to these type of series. I just don't hear many people talking about it, it doesn't seem to have created that much of a buzz. I'm sure it'll get a second series, there must have been a massive investment in it, there just doesn't seem to be a lot happening.

The past 2 episodes are so good, and some answers creeping in. I think some of the hosts are going to turn on the humans at the end of the series, and it be a bloodbath, as they want blood, its the way I'm reading into it, you really have to analyse each episode there are clues in last night's episode.
Officially renewed for a second season although HBO have said it's likely it won't premiere until early 2018.

The last episode was really good, its taken a while but I've got into this now. Have downloaded all the episodes that have been shown and in the process of watching them again, but this time paying full attention so hopefully won't be as confused as I have been !

Some great twists at the end of the series. It was hard going at times but well worth sticking with, one of the best shows of the year.
Loved Maeve, thought she was a great character, truly menacing. Roll on series two.

I agree some great twists at the end, this has to be my favourite new show of 2016, actually I wouldn't mind owning the whole series on DVD.
