16. Lisbon – Sharkwww.youtube.com/watch?v=srq8Ih_THi8Peak Position: 2
Kept off #1 by: 1. (5.) SHINERS - 19 Again Another great song from Sims favorite band from round my way in sunny Whitley Bay and another song that stalled for multiple weeks at #2 but don't let that fool you, its a right indie rock anthem, if I remember correctly from one of Sims interviews this song is about the record industry being ruthless

9. The 1975 – A Change Of Heartwww.youtube.com/watch?v=trbwqF0d7NAPeak Position: 1
#1 for 2 weeksAnother very good follow up album, they left behind the jangly indie guitars and picked up a more 80's sound, brave move but this is probably one of the best songs they have ever done

8. Radkey – Marvelwww.youtube.com/watch?v=NSsdUIn4u7oPeak Position: 1
#1 for 2 weeksImagine a modern day Ramones and your not far wrong, Radkey are a garage rock band that consists of three home-schooled brothers from Missouri. Isaiah Radke (bass), Solomon Radke (drums), and Dee Radke (lead vocals and guitar) and they kick ass, they took an average punk song by The Lemons and made it a million times better. Check out their album Delicious Rock Noise too, it came #3 on my albums of 2016

5. Green Day – Bang Bangwww.youtube.com/watch?v=wvu2-xQUNQIPeak Position: 1
#1 for 3 weeksAmazing return to form considering the low standard of Green Day's singles since 2010s excellent "Last of the American Girls", they seem to have their swagger back and I'm sure they have a lot of material coming our way now Trump is the ultimate "American Idiot"

1. Zibra – RIPwww.youtube.com/watch?v=voZRC7bclewPeak Position: 1
#1 for 3 weeksAt number 1 we have the band that broke my heart, they absolutely smashed Glasto in 2015 and released the brilliant Great White Shark (67), Wasted Days (142) and Paris (195) in 2015 having 3 songs in my top 200 of 2015, they then topped it all with Girls Like You (60) early in 2016 and finally claimed number 1 in my chart for nearly a month with RIP but broke up the same week Rest In Peace ZIBRA
