I have considered ranking all my Christmas #1s since 2007 as their chart run doesn't really reflect anything. The ones with the longer runs are usually just those that came out a few weeks more before Christmas.
Only one of my Christmas #1s since then wasn't a Christmas song, in 2014. I also had a Christmassy #1 that stayed over into January in 2009-10, and a sort-of Christmas song that topped my chart after Christmas in 2008-9.
I could throw Christmas #2s into the rankings too, when they are Christmas songs. In 2014 my highest placed Christmas song was at #3.

From this list only Murder On The Dancefloor was my # 1. These singles from Eminem & Dido, Gwen Stefani were represented in my chart too. Not sure about Madonna's song and Fairytale Of New York. All other your #1s obviously weren't in my chart. Didn't heard songs from 2010 to 2016. The worst # 1s : Prodigy and Kate Bush

1980
My # 1 :
ABBA - Happy New Year (# 1 debut)
UK # 1 :
St Winifred's School Choir - There's No One Quite Like Grandma
The most popular from all festive songs in my home country easily gave the second Xmas # 1 for ABBA. This single was released many years after and only in some countries. With possible UK release we could avoid such strange # 1 at Christmas 1980.
My Christmas Top 3 : 1. ABBA - Happy New Year 2. Barbra Streisand - Woman In Love 3. Sue Wilkinson - You Gotta Be A Hustler If You Wanna Get On After 22 weeks (include 10 weeks at # 1) Sue Wilkinson hold a place in top 3 with "You Gotta Be A Hustler If You Wanna Get On".

"Soundtrack To A Generation" was the first successful entry for British group Human League in my chart, but it flopped badly reaching only number 77 in the UK singles chart, and charting for two weeks. It was to be the worst performance of a Human League single for ten years.
