1995
My # 1 :
Madonna - You'll See (7th week at # 1)
UK # 1 :
Michael Jackson - Earth Song
On this Christmas week we got King and Queen of Pop on the top.
With the success of "You'll See" (my favourite her ballad) Madonna has more Christmas # 1s than any other singer or group in my chart.

Spice Girls - Too Much
There is no way for other # 1 at this Christmas.
British girl group Vanilla easily hold # 1 for the second week (from their 4 weeks at # 1) with the one from two most hated # 1s of my chart.
Why this summer tune was released in the end of November ?

My # 1 :
Steps - Say You'll Be Mine (Debut at # 1)
UK # 1 :
Westlife - I Have A Dream / Seasons In The Sun
My favourite single of 90s was released in the last week of decade. "Say You'll Be Mine" became 9th consecutive # 1 single for Steps in my chart. On that period of time "Say You'll Be Mine" obviously was their best release and the music video still the one from my all-time favourite videoclips.

2000
My # 1 :
No Doubt - Simple Kind Of Life (3rd week at # 1)
UK # 1 :
Bob The Builder - Can We Fix It ?
Both Christmas charts had unpredictable # 1s.
In UK cartoon character Bob The Builder got # 1, beating Westlife's "What Makes A Man" and broke their record chain of 1s. Also this single sold over one million copies and became the best selling song of 2000 year in the UK.
In my chart Westlife also were # 2 at Christmas week with their previous single "Against All Odds" (duet with Mariah Carey). For both artists it was first and last # 1.
No Doubt won the battle against very strong players (Madonna, Britney, Kylie, Dido, Christina) and did a comeback at # 1 for 3rd week with "Simple Kind Of Life"

Second and last shared # 1. "Somethin' Stupid" got the top position for the second time, original version by Frank & Nancy Sinatra spent 4 weeks at # 1 in 1967.
Christmas Top 5 was amazing : the last single from Steps, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell's masterpiece.

Christmas Top 3 : 01. (NE) Fast Food Rockers - I Love Christmas 02. (01) Cheeky Girls - Have A Cheeky Christmas
Maybe the best music December ever. Lovely festive top 2 + "It's My Life", "Life For Rent", "Not Me, Not I", "Nothing Fails" / "Love Profusion".

Funny Christmas and a festive spirit everywhere in top 3, much better than real UK Christmas chart of 2016. Christmas Top 3 : 01. (NE) Hot Pantz - Give You One For Christmas 02. (NE) Skandi Girls - Do The Can Can www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_irXo9llmU03. (NE) Avid Merrion, Davina McColl And Patsy Kensit - I Got You Babe www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fe_3Wy6_1Y8

2005
My # 1 :
Girls Aloud - See The Day (Debut at # 1)
UK # 1 :
Shayne Ward - That's My Goal
Girls Aloud are the queens of my Christmas' chart with their unpredictable UK flop "See The Day".
Only # 9. Behind Eminem, Crazy Frog (!!!) and Pussycat Dolls. For the most popular UK girl group with winter/Christmas related video. I thought that it's a main contender for # 1 (minimum # 2 behind X-Factor).
