As everybody knows I like to compile different music rankings and retrospective charts. Which my personal charts and rankings you want to see firstly ? - Full ranking of all ABBA songs - Something related to the official UK chart (for simple : favourite UK # 1s or UK # 2s), maybe also "Favourite # 1s" (include all major country charts) - Top songs from each year (slowly year by year) - Maybe even you have the interest in "Least favourite songs" charts - Any another chart (post the idea in the thread) - Also I can try to complete the analogue of Earl Purple's and raliverpool's retro charts, but it will be very hard. P.S. : I'm not ready for "All-time favourite songs", because it should be something massive like these UKMix countdowns. www.ukmix.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=582091www.ukmix.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=324213

Favourite songs by male singers and bands featuring male singers? You caught me. Obviously it will be mixed gender groups & duets chart. The single with a less percentage of female vocal in my chart was Eurovision song from Luxembourg (1968 year). Chris Baldo & Sophie Garel - Nous Vivrons D'Amour
Early ABBA also is good choice.

I meant only male lead singers, not male-female duos, although it could have female instrumentalists or backing singers.
Maybe another category for mixed gender lead vocals.
Abba were a mixed group but most of the lead vocals were done by the women. There were some male-lead-vocal tracks, including the single "Does Your Mother Know", and some where there were occasional male vocals, like the chanting of "Take a chance" on Take A Chance On Me.

I have always had a fascination with TV themes.
Some kind of chart on that would be nice say based on Chart Position or simply a haven favourite open to suggestions like Raliverpool is doing at the present with his Madonna thing.

Do you talk about my personal lists or the forum countdowns ? TV themes : Sorry, I'm not a fan of them. Chart positions based list : I like the idea to select my favourite top 100 songs, which were # 1s in any respected main chart. But also will like to join in forum countdown, for simple based on UK # 1s. Something artist related, like our Madonna countdown :If we talk about Haven favourite : Raliverpool did the poll for the next countdown. My wishes for the next Haven rates : Kylie, Bucks Fizz, from male artists / groups - maybe Beatles. If we talk about my personal lists : I like the idea about the full ranking of ABBA songs from # 100 to # 1. I can do the same ranking for Geri Halliwell and Amy Macdonald after the releases of their fourth albums.

Maybe we could do it by decade - everybody pick their top 100 (or 50 if that's too much) #1's from a particular decade and a chart is compiled based on the most popular.

One idea I had, but I'm not using as the Artist Haven Favourites has taken off, was to go and do a NOW That What I Call Music track rate or ESC style points scoring system, album by album.

It's great ideaI prefer to vote for all-time top 50 (or 100) UK #1s, not for any particular decade. All we need is the host of countdown.

Good idea too, but it's very very long road and huge work for the host of game. Obviously I will be a participant, maybe not in all old editions, but 100 % somewhere from late 90s to early 00s.
