A big shock in racing today as the Jockey Club announces if it selling Kempton to a housing developer and may build an all weather track at Newarket.
King George will move to Sandown and Sandown will be revamped to accomodate the closure of Kempton.
Also Chelmsford has been given permission to have a turf course on the inside of it's al weather track.

A bit of a shock to hear about Kempton but it does appear to be a genuine sacrifice by the Jockey Club for the good of the sport, rather than just simple money-grabbing.

You clearly haven't seen the interview Between nick luck and chief executive. Jockey club 115m in debt cannot borrow anymore not a good situation for a company that owns Cheltenham Newmarket and Aintree
