She's fallen from grace a bit. Hardly going to be taking the pop crown from Madonna

I think it's brilliant, saw the video the other day and couldn't work out why it wasn't a hit? Catchy, infectious and funny, what more does she have to do?

I think it's brilliant, saw the video the other day and couldn't work out why it wasn't a hit? Catchy, infectious and funny, what more does she have to do? It is not a hit because it is Lady Gaga. If "John Wayne" had been done by the likes of Rihanna; Beyonce; Little Mix; Lorde; etc Radio 1 would have added it straight to their A playlist; and you'd be sick of seeing the video on the music TV channels. Forget her current success in America, as far as the UK is concerned she is done; especially after how the British media acted after her 2016 Grammys David Bowie tribute which was probably the final nail in her coffin for her profile over in the UK (example the Guardian panned her 2017 Superbowl halftime show 2 out of 5 stars www.youtube.com/watch?v=txXwg712zw4 when in America it was universally praised as the best since Prince's in 2007 - which was funnily enough the last time an act performed live), where she is now about as irrelevant as Aerosmith or Kiss were in the UK in the late 70s/early 1980s.

i think some of the shade of justified, she released one of the worst albums in history (Artpop) and the lead of Joanne (Perfect Illusion) was ok-ish but not the wowowow song people were expecting. Million Reasons is amazing and the best thing she's done since her debut but has come too late, she got unjustified support during the Born this way/Artpop eras...
also John Wayne is ok but not on the same level as Bad Romance or Pokerface, it's doing nothing in the US either

Thumbs down from me. I tried my best with Artpop, but frankly cannot bring myself to even give the album a second listen.
