It will be good to get Tyrion back to the centre of the action in King's Landing. But surely Euron is smart enough to realise that Cersei will never marry him, and will keep demanding more from him, until he gets himself killed ?
Samwell + Jorah could be a good combo.
What's the betting that we end up liking Jaime more than Arya by the end of the series ?

But Dany's Dragons will surely burn the entire fleet? That was what I thought Euron might do, but Dany will not be thwarted, surely?

Surely the dragons have a finite amount of firepower ? They can't go on blowing all day can they ? Besides, there has to be a limit to the number of goats on Westeros.

Great to see the Hound again and the fact that he now seems to have a purpose, was the seen with Arya done to show her there's more to good and bad, the lines are blurred? They were Lannister men, but good people? When she killed all the Frey sons, wow, I just hope Glenn was okay I was fine (who's Glenn in the context of GoT?) I've been watching during the night while feeding babies - managed to finally catch up over the last week, after being in season 3 at the start of the year. Now I have to find something else to watch while ironing or feeding

But Dany's Dragons will surely burn the entire fleet? That was what I thought Euron might do, but Dany will not be thwarted, surely? There are rumours of sea battles, so I suspect Dany's dragons will be either preoccupied, unreliable or short-lived in the battle. If you think about it, Dany's got the biggest, most destructive army/navy/air force in the entire game. No way will the producers let her just walk it. Might as well end the series in a couple of episodes when she burns King's Landing, roasts Cersei, melts the White Walkers and sits on a slightly hot Iron Throne!

Finally got around to watching the first episode... a little underwhelming to be honest! The ending of this episode was basically just an extension of the last scene of season 6. Give us something new!

Ugh. I'm actually kind of underwhelmed by the latest episode. I really liked Episode 1 (thought the opening scene with the Frey banquet was amazing, plus lots of promising set-up stuff) but I kept getting annoyed by stuff in Episode 2. Especially Daenerys rounding on Varys randomly (yes, by all means question his loyalty but shouldn't that have happened at some point before you appointed him to your Small Council?) and most of all Arya's scenes. Don't get me wrong, I was happy to see Hot Pie again, but that scene just underlined for me why it would have been better for them to have met up BEFORE she did the Frey Pies thing. And Nymeria! After all this time... only for her to run away again It made sense, after how Arya treated her, but it was heartbreaking all the same. Best moment of the episode was by far the ending, though. Good riddance to 2/3rds of the Sand Snakes. And I guess it's pretty obvious what Euron's 'gift' for Cersei will be now...

All the time the ladies were getting hot in the lower decks, I was waiting for the bang of an attack, we'd already had the weekly sex scene of course. So is that all the fleet wiped out, or just the part that was going to blockade kings landing? It suggests an attack by land may be the only option? And Arya heading north while Jon goes to Dragonstone, I need to look at a map and see where that is. Wonder what move Littlefinger will now make...

Dragonstone is quite close to King's Landing, so should take Jon a while to get there. But maybe he'll have one of the jet packs that Little Finger, Varys and Caitlin have all had to ferry themselves around in the past.
I think that's all of Theon/Yara's fleet gone now. Olenna and Dany still have their own fleets though, Dany will be using hers to send the Unsullied to Casterly Rock, but no mention of what Olenna's fleet was going to be used for. Maybe her army was on all the ships that were alongside Dany's fleet at the end of season 6? Though that would seem silly as they would have already been in Westeros so why put them all onto ships at all to begin with?
If Cersei had any sense (we know she's lacking in that department, right?) she'd decline Euron's gift as inadequate. She can get her personal revenge with Ellaria and the sand snake, but how much will this help her overall? The Dornish army is still in Dorne, and I'm assuming someone else will just take over control now?

But maybe he'll have one of the jet packs that Little Finger, Varys and Caitlin have all had to ferry themselves around in the past. Melisandre made the trip in 1 episode, too. I expect Jon will teleport there in time for next week. Will he meet Arya on the Kingsroad? Also, why isn't Arya travelling in disguise? She's just waiting to get randomly recognised and stabbed... Why wouldn't they go by land? It's about 4 times longer by sea than by land as you have to go around half of Westeros... [ map]

Dany said that the sand snakes and Oleanna were going to blockade King's Landing, so I don't understand, why it was only Theon's fleet that was wiped out? Thanks for the map Frag, will have to consult that more and more, who controls the area with Storm's end? As you'd expect Dorne and Highgarden could just march on King's Landing? Especially if the Unsullied are now taking on casterly Rock?

Didn't something similar happen to Stanis at some point? And Davos would smuggle onions to him?

If you've enjoyed it thus far, then yes.
Oh and I just realised when Jon gets to Dragonstone, we'll have a Targaryen reunion, I wonder if all three will fly on their dragons to save the north from the whitewalkers? And then maybe rule each region with their dragon to keep the peace?

Which 3? What Targaryen's are you talking about other than Jon and Dany?
