Didn't Varys have the guy who cut him in a box a few seasons ago? Oh yeah! I wonder what happened to him? Probably Varys left him in KL to starve when he ran off to Essos...

Episode 4 has leaked...
I wonder if HBO are going to be able to plug this or if the whole series will be compromised? They better step their game up for Season 8!

Well I've seen episode 4 already and now I can't wait for the next! If the others don't leave I'll have to wait even longer than usual

To be honest I'm not fussed about the leaks as long as spoilers don't appear somewhere I'm likely to look (Facebook or here mostly!) I need to wait until Monday night as it gets me through Monday workday

I'd much rather watch on my quite big screen telly, from the comfort of my arm chair, than squint at a laptop perched on a table.
To anyone who does watch the leaked episodes, please don't post any spoilers here until after we've had a chance to watch on Tuesday evening. Thanks very much.

Blooming heck, that was intense! Definitely thought a fair few were going to be a goner this episode!
I think Petyr's days are numbered at Winterfell too what with Bran knowing all! I did chuckle at Dany being shown those cave drawings by Jon. He could've just taken a box of crayons in there and done those himself!
The dragon action was just stunning though! The amazing Dothraki battle sequences would have been impressive but then whack dragon fire on top of that and you're good.
How can there only be three episodes left this year?! And potentially only nine left ever!

The set-up of 'The gold has reached King's Landing and these aren't all the Lanister troops waiting to die' was PAINFULLY obvious.

The set-up of 'The gold has reached King's Landing and these aren't all the Lanister troops waiting to die' was PAINFULLY obvious. Sadly I think it's a byproduct of our time. People don't watch things with their full concentration and need clumsy lines like that hammering home. I've already read several people's posts elsewhere who thought Dany had got all the gold and wiped out most of the Lannisters. This happened with "Batman V Superman" with the whole "there's no one in this entire district" lines to make sure people knew the final battle wasn't smashing civilians to bits after "Man of Steel".

As soon as the chap was talking to Cersei about as soon as the gold reaches us, I thought, something might happen, but she's still got her gold, just lost a few 100 men, wagons and maybe her brother. You know Bronn will swim down and rescue him though. And as S1m said absolutely amazing scenes with the dragon, just totally Oh My God, I sat there with my mouth open, and at the sound of hoofbeats, I was shouting DOTHRAKIIIII. It had been quite average to that point, amazing to end it like that. So the scorpion weapon wasn't the thing that Cersei has, that's even more powerful? Brilliant to see Dany fight back, those Dothraki covered some ground again! And the Whitewalkers, have they got stuck in quicksand, lost their compass, or just having a big snowball fight? I mean they're dead, they dont need to rest, and yet they were at Craister's Keep, what two seasons ago, and they still haven't reached the Wall! The Dothraki cover that distance in 10 minutes

That was the best episode ever, amazing scenes all round, I was shouting OMG throughout the battle scenes, it just kept going and going, as if the battle was on fast forward, everything was happening you just couldn't tell who was going to get killed off, it could have been anyone.
I still can't get those battle scenes out of my head, I might have to see that episode again before the next episode airs.
I think think White Walkers is still to come, that would be amazing, I really can't wait for that. I think that's were leading to next.

We dont know what Jon said to Dany about bending the knee to get her support do we? But he could do with hurrying up on the mining of the dragonglass.

I wonder how that battle will affect Tyrion's loyalty? Surely it can't be nice seeing your own people getting burned alive by your queen. Plus I'm assuming he doesn't hate Jamie in the way that he does their sister.
And I think that Scorpion thing was actually the weapon Cersei used in the dungeon, or at least one of how ever many they made. Didn't do half as much damage as they'd have expected I imagine. Then again the skull they pointlessly destroyed in the dungeon had no skin which is effectively the strongest armor in the world... so their little experiment did seem pointless at the time.

Wow best episode ever that was intense, it all turned out in the end how I hoped don't want Bronn to die yet, great to see him go for glory rather than greed in the end.
