England Ladies play Holland tonight in the Semi-Final of the Euros.
A tough game against the host nation, but one I am sure they will cope with and go through to the final.
It has been a mixed campaign for our Scottish ladies but despite the 6-0 defeat to England, we can be proud of our 1-0 over Spain in what was our major finals.
Womens football is on the rise and as a coach in the girls game, I can only show proudness of all the girls involved in these finals regardless of nationality.
Good luck to England tonight.

Cheers Murray, be tough losing Jill Scott and the GK, but you have to have a good squad, so I hope they can do it. And big up you being a coach, I know how hard that is from watching Sam on the sidelines and every parent chipping in with what the team/players should be doing, I just try and encourage them. Anyway, Sam is almost 18 now, so takes little notice of what I say anyway...

Thanks oIt was a tough game last night for England. Holland are a good team. Things may have been different had they got their penalty claims. Girls should be proud to get to the semis after a fantastic campaign. Heartbreaking for them.

It was. I do think we still lack that cutting edge up front. What I find out when they are being reported on, is how they were talking that if they won it would be our first silverware since 66, no it wouldn't, this is the women's team, surely separate from the men's team, with their own history?

Was in London with the better half today after seeing Foo Fighters last night (cracking gig), and seen on a pub TV that the Lionesses manager has been sacked by the FA.

All a bit of a mess. The FA cleared him over racism allegations but then find another excuse to sack him whilst stressing he is clear to continue in coaching. Classic FA.

And they've sacked him for something he was cleared of in the past, very bizarre.

The FA just love charging and sacking players and managers for the fun of it.
I din't think they have any interest in football as a sport.
