I know right, in stark contrast to the last round, good luck picking a winner here

No Beatles at all, thought someone would have chanced it. But then 3 Rolling Stones tracks...
I don't know if I think I'll do well or not.

I did fear getting 13 Beatles songs, off the top of my head none of the backup songs were The Beatles either

I'm shocked at no The Beatles selected as I figured there would be, hence I did not enter my 2nd choice "Come Together".
Whilst there are 3 Rolling Stones songs here, but not their signature single "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction".
Plus two CCR tracks, but none by The Kinks; Small Faces; The Yardbirds; (Peter Green era) Fleetwood Mac; The Doors; Jimi Hendrix; Spencer Davis Group/Traffic; Bob Dylan; the Troggs; etc...
I know all of these, so I'll quickly remind myself and sort my votes out tonight.

Yeah it seems the majority went for the more classic definition of "rock" this round.
Technically Piece Of My Heart is by Big Brother & The Holding Company. But Janis Joplin did sing the lead vocals on it.

I was going to enter
The Zombies – This Will Be Our Year The Moody Blues – A Simple Game
The Doors were entered but it was Break on Through which had been used in an earlier round so they swapped

I originally entered Brown Eyed Girl for this round, so I had to swap.
I almost went with The Surfaris - Wipe Out but wasn't sure how an instrumental would fare.
Also, I've listened through all the songs and I want to give them all points. What a strong round.

The Yardbirds - For Your Love, was my second choice, my shortlisted songs were by Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Cream, Kinks, Manfred Mann, Moody Blues, The Who, and one of the songs selected.

What a class round - I could give half-a-dozen of these my 15 points and my all time fav Stones record is there too.

One of those songs is on my current retro list...
Of course there are rock songs / bands not there! There was a lot of rock in the 1960s.
For one of the greatest rock riffs of the 1960s, enter Paul and Adrian "Gonna Write A Classic" Gurvitz..
Actually if I'd known I was allowed to use "devil" songs that would have been my entry to round 1.

Voted.
Just to add 11 of the 13 tracks finished in my Year End Top 40 of my Retro Rewind Charts, and the other two made my Top 125 of the Year.
That has been the toughest round to vote on to date.
