Love these 3, I even entered the latter into Haven Xmasvision I love Xmas' songs, usually have minimum one big festive hit in the last chart of each year. Two Christmas songs are not eliminated on this moment of time. From the rest songs I can recommend Metric, if you don't know them.

# 21 - # 25 :# 21. 2raumwohnung - Wir Werden Sehen # 22. Salemme - All That She Wants # 23. Princessa Avenue - Tear # 24. Helene Fischer - Ich Will Immer Wieder Dieses Fieber Spurn # 25. Lene Marlin & Aleksander With - Worth It 4th studio album of Norwegian pop star Lene Marlin didn't add any big solo hits in her music legacy, but the duet with the winner of the music TV show Idol was peaked at # 3 in her home country. Also it's the most successful duet in this chart. Based on album sales pop and schlager singer Helene Fischer is the biggest female star in the history of German charts. On that moment of time "Ich Will Immer Wieder" was her most successful single, peaked at # 30. "Tear" was the third big Russian hit single in the history of my chart. Firstly Natalya Vetlitskaya had the ultimate # 1 song "Slave Of Love" in 1995, many years after it Julia Kova had # 1 single with "Don't Go For Anything But Love" in 2006 and finally Princessa Avenue got their 15 minutes of glory in 2009 with the second single from their debut album. Very emotional video, maybe the best from all chart. A cover version of Ace of Base's hit from the Netherlands. Very similar sound with the original, which was # 1 in my chart before. So I have a good reason for loving this single. Great German vocalist Inga Humpe and new hit single from her group 2raumwohnung. My favourite their song "Play" (English version of "Spiel Mit") had some airplay on Russian radio station Maximum in 2005, so I knew about them in pre-Internet days.

# 16 - # 20 :# 16. Britney Spears - Radar # 17. Sunny - Carrie (NF - Norway) # 18. Girls Aloud - The Loving Kind # 19. Katherine Jenkins - Bring Me To Life # 20. Natalija Tumsevica - Dynamite (NF - Latvia) Seasonal hit from Latvian Eirodziesma. Eurovision needs in more sexy performances, something like "Dance Alone" from last year. Unfortunately Belgium wasn't brave enough and didn't select Femme Fatale in 2008 and Latvian peoples voted for "Probka" instead "Dynamite", which was finished only on the third place. Natalija also was the participant in 7th season of Russian music TV project "Stars Factory". Her most popular songs after "Stars Factory" are "Show Business" and "Beautiful Ladies Can Do Everything"Cover version of Evanescence # 1 hit from Welsh classical-crossover singer Katherine Jenkins. Her maiden # 1 in my chart. I don't like the original for agressive chorus. Final # 1 from the best British girlband ever and your favourite "leaders of the pack" Girls Aloud. The one from my favourite videos in this top 100. Based on results of Eurovision 2009 it's a madness to blame Norway for their song choice. But I really wanted to see ex-vocalist of rock band Jack Solgunn Ivana Valstad (Sunny) with her single "Carrie". It sounds like missed single from "One Of The Boys". Her performance in Melodi Grand Prix. I recommend to listen this song for all fans of early Katy Perry. Britney's "Radar" is my favourite song on "Blackout" and very far from filler on amazing "Circus".

# 11 - # 15 :# 11. Velvet - The Queen (NF - Sweden) # 12. Taylor Swift - You Belong With Me # 13. Jenny May - Es Neesmu Dzeina Fonda # 14. Girls Can't Catch - Keep Your Head Up # 15. Jeanette - Solitary Rose It's impossible to beat UK and US songs market, but I predict very interesting battle for third place between Germany, Netherlands, and Lithuania, if I will compile my all time chart in the future. Beautiful ballad "Solitary Rose" became the final single for Jeanette Biedermann. Short-living British girl groups always were my weakness. A debut single "Keep Your Head Up" by Girls Can't Catch entered at number 1 in August. I discovered Latvian singer Jenny May only in 2017 year after the participation in Lingovision song contest on Haven forum. For her second studio album "Nak Nakts" Jenna did many covers on popular Latvian songs from different genres. A debut single became the highlight of her music career. Original version of "Es Neesmu Dzeina Fonda" (I'm Not Jane Fonda) was a huge hit for Latvian band Eolika in 1987 year. My favourite video from Taylor Swift. Especially the moment when she wrote "I love you" on the piece of paper, but the guy went away and can't see it. Velvet obviously was a queen of Melodifestivalen - 2009. It's my favourite from all her three attempts. "The Queen" is Velvet's eighth consecutive and last solo Top 20 single in Sweden.

# 6 - # 10 :# 6. Sharon Corr - Me & My Teddy Bear # 7. Susanne Georgi - La Teva Decisio (Get A Life) (ESC - Andorra) # 8. Mega Mindy - Tijd Voor Mega Mindy # 9. YVA - Paparacai # 10. Little Boots - Remedy Best New Act of 2009 Little Boots with her only one top 10 hit in UK. Peaked at # 6 "Remedy" was the most successful song in charts from my top 10. This year was the best for my all-time favourite # 1 group. After a short pause YVA fans got 4th studio album "I Dangu" and some wonderful hits. Song lyrics of "Paparazzi" is the answer of YVA singer Natalija Bunke for tabloids and other critics of her music and lifestyle. dainutekstai.lt/r2415/yva-paparaciai.htmlMega Mindy is a Flemish children's television series with a supernatural/superhero drama theme. It centers around a young woman, Mieke, who works as a police officer but also has a secret identity as superhero Mega Mindy. With some big hits from debut album she became the second most successful music project for Studio 100 after K3. Lead single from the second album "Tijd Voor Mega Mindy" was peaked only at # 27 in Belgium. Danish singer Susanne Georgi started her career along with her sister in the duo Me & My. This group had a couple of hits around Europe (Dub-I-Dub, Baby Boy) and some # 1s in my chart. Susanne represented Andorra in ESC 2009 with my favourite entry of this year "La Teva Decisio (Get A Life)". Very cute Children In Need charity single "Me and My Teddy Bear" is the maiden solo # 1 single for Sharon Corr in my chart. The most popular version of this song was recorded by Rosemary Clooney in 1950.

Top 5 :# 1. Britney Spears - If You Seek Amy # 2. YVA - I Dangu (NF - Lithuania) # 3. YVA - Laukiu Kaledu # 4. Little Boots - Earthquake # 5. YVA - Velnias Manyje Gyvena My precious YVA ladies had 4 number ones in this year. After "Paparacai" at # 9, three other hits are repesented in year-end top 5. Based on lyrics "Velnias Manyje Gyvena" (The Devil Lives In Me) sounds like "Paparacai"'s sequel. Besides relations between celebrities and mass media in this song YVA beauties also talk about a dark side of the female nature. All good things comes to end. Festive "Laukiu Kaledu" (I'm Waiting For Christmas) was the final # 1 hit for YVA in my chart. In 2010 year after "Greatest Hits" release (mostly for collectors, because the fans already heard all songs on the previous CDs) and short-lived 3.0 line-up, all girls were involved in other music projects. In the end of 2016 year YVA did a comeback on Lithuanian pop scene and even had some performances in London clubs. “I Dangu” (Into The Sky) is the most known YVA song for Europeans, because it was their second unsuccessful attempt in the national pre-selection for Eurovision Song Contest. It’s not confirmed by any sources, but iconic NF performance looks like a copycat of “Flying The Flag (For You) from Eurovision - 2007. My favourite Little Boots’ single “Earthquake” finished at # 4. Her debut “Hands” obviously was the signature album of 2009 for pop music fans. Do we have anybody else here, who prefer “Earthquake” over her main hit “Remedy” ? Congratulations for Britney and all her fans. In very hard battle for a crown against YVA superhits “If You Seek Amy” became my favourite song of 2009.

I only know 16 of these and of them I probably only like 4, we are just very different. 16 is almost equal the number of singles from UK chart in my top 100. My music taste and personal lists are restricted by mentioned sources (watch the first post). I like only three music genres - pop, rock and country. Country always will be underperformed, because I don't have any good sources and lists of songs/acts. Honestly I don't know many rock groups with female vocals, mostly the popular with the hits in UK chart (Garbage, Paramore, Hole, Cranberries e.t.c.). It's very hard to recommend something for you from this list, but I can try. Sounds, LaFee, Indica, Aloha From Hell, Doro, Sunny, 2raumwohnung, Princessa Avenue - Tear (better than Tatu ), Miss Montreal - This Is My Life, Miss Li, Fraulein Wunder.
