Fans of Marc Bolan & T-Rex should note there is a brand new rockumentary on David Bowie's former 1960s room mate on BBC 4 Friday at 9PM.

This was the only round where I thought I stood any chance of winning, but I didn't anticipate the power of the Bowie.

Poor Roxy Music, that was going to be my entry as well, lucky I fell back onto a Bowie track then!

It was sort of inevitable that Bowie was going to win this round. After how Under Pressure under performed in an early round, I honestly expected Roxy Music Virginia Plain to win.

I didn't think Bowie would have the Top 3!

3 Raliverpool (103 points) David Bowie – Starman
The lowest of the Bowie entries was Raliverpool with Starman, I would say it is Bowie at his Glam best, only 1 maximum point was probably the difference from Darkstar

I think I ranked my own track 5th as I couldn't remember which Bowie track I'd entered, til I checked.

I wonder how my sub would have done? If I'd know 'Virginia Plain' has been picked I would have changed.

2 Greendemon (105 points) David Bowie – Rebel Rebel
Runner up we have Rebel Rebel, which accumulated 2 top scores from me and Whitneyfan, I think most of us thought there was a chance of a Bowie 123 but I would’ve guessed the reverse order

Rebel rebel was my least fave of the 3, but still a great track as most of Bowie's output is.

1 Andy (124 points) David Bowie – Life on Mars?
And we all know what that means, we have Andy claiming his 5th win!, he is on a hot run for sure winning the last 3 rounds, is he the new favourite to win this overall after taking the lead with 3 rounds to go?
It received 5 maximum points from Raliverpool, Thorney, Smokeyb, Earl Purple and Hupin

Most critics and music observers labelled it a Rolling Stones rip off; with the Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards going on to call the track "Reductive". (Now where has that insult been used since....)

The round I am looking forward to next, I know its in the options but I really hope we don't have too much synth pop as it was a brilliant time for rock music and that's what we are celebrating here well I am?!. Really don't need more Pet Shop Boys domination for example lol you might be pleased then

Wow, another win, not convinced I can hang onto a Top 2 finish with the next two rounds, my songs could be divisive, but I like both of them and they fit the bill.

At the top Andy claims the number 1 spot for the first time after 3 wins in a row, not a lot of movement elsewhere, but Greendemon has closed the gap between her and Earl Purple in the battle for 3rd place and Manic is now level with Thorney ibb.co/m9yqoa (link to bigger scoreboard)
