Here we are round 13 results, still waiting for votes from ManicKangaroo but most my prep work is done so I can get things up quickly when they come in So who will win this round? Bon Jovi at their cheesy best? Joy Division at their gloomy best? The Cure with some classic jangly pop infused indie? Pixies at their grungy best? David Bowie, will he win back to back rounds? or will The Cult win, I have know idea what he is saying but I like it!

When I submitted my entry, I thought I had a really good chance. But then I saw the other songs, and now I'll be pleased with a Top 10 finish.

My money is on Bowie again, but I'd like Joy Division, Cure or Cult to win, or Martha and the Muffins, but assuming they aren't going to, if Daz doesn't mention them I'd be happy with a Top 6 finish (hopefully)

The Eighties is my favourite decade for music so this round was always going to be a good 'un. But I wasn't expecting it to be quite this good!
Joy Division have a good chance I think.

Hopefully mine will sneak in under the radar, but it will probably (albeit thoroughly undeservedly) finish in the lower reaches again, knowing my track record.

13 Roo (31 points) Metallica - Fade To Black
By now he is no stranger to 13th place, it’s a long contest when there are 15 rounds and you’re welded to the foot of the table so thanks for sticking with it, along with The Drive In, Metallica are probably the heaviest act to be entered in any round

12 Smokeyb (36 points) Visage - Fade To Grey
Little surprised this didn’t do a bit better but it was up against some strong songs from a wide spectrum of 80’s hits, Rubcale gave it 15 points so at least someone loved it and that was enough to avoid last place

Poor Roo I had Metallica to finish higher, yes it's heavy but it's a stone- cold classic!

11 Razzle Dazzle (43 points) Van Halen - Why Can’t This Be Love?
Well it is my song so I am biased but I think it is classic 80’s, I mentioned earlier in the voting thread the leader board this round is split right down the middle between songs that did amazing and songs that underwhelmed

Fade to Grey should have been much higher.

Disappointingly low for Van Halen

Fade to Grey should have been much higher. I agree, but with hindsight I should have gone one of my back up songs

10 Big Dan (48 points) Killing Joke - Love Like Blood
Interesting development really, this could have been Raliverpool entry but it was already taken so he had to use another song, if he had used this the contest could have been over, he loved it and gave it his 15 points
