You spoke, I listened and here we are with the 15 winners to decide who will ultimately come out on top, a slight change in the voting though, this time with there being more songs you can vote for 12 tracks. Send your votes to me by PM. Songs won't be subject of a 15 points deduction if you decide not to vote and you CAN vote for your own song, this will be a stand alone round and wont affect the overall scores. Allocate your votes as follows:
Please vote for your favorite songs, they all should be known by now but I have provided links. Voting will be open until 6PM (GMT) Friday 29th September and as usual we encourage non-participants to vote

Yeah mine pretty much fell into place. I like 13 of them so only had to miss one song off. Im sure some people will dislike 4 or 5 songs but stlesst you only have to give thr eorst songs 1 or 2 points and as a trade off grt to give the top 6 all big points with the new system

Just had a first listen to each song and I'm really struggling on coming to a definitive order. I'm satisfied with the bottom three that I've got missing out on points. My 10th, 11th, and 12th spots are sorted too, but it's the top nine that is causing me difficulty and has got me properly bamboozled. Good job I have until Friday to get them all figured out!

Whilst I gave all my songs some points, they weren't the top votes for me.
It is very difficult having to compare an "epic" rock album track Stairway To Heaven, a great indie-pop song Sit Down, a great lyrical social comment of Common People, the absolute great angst rock of Smells Like Teen Spirit and the greatness of "Life On Mars".
Did mine surprisingly quickly, even though I played a few of the songs to help me place them.
Number 1 was easy; the rest needed some thinking. Some of these I think are rather overplayed and/or overrated, but there are probably only 2 that I actually dislike.
I agree. I always try to judge the entries based solely on their musical merit, but I know I'm sometimes guilty of letting other factors influence my verdict. For instance, if a song is the usual go-to that you always hear for an act then it has the possibility of making the song seem mundane, when on purely technical/creative merits it is actually better than other entries that I've ranked higher.
