Is that on Android too I'm not sure.
It will probably take me back to around 1969 though given my current retro playlists are in that year. I see 6 playlists called Daily Mix.
The first 3 are all based in the 1960s. Daily Mix 4 is current, Daily Mix 5 is based in the 60s but contains crap artists (Des O'Connor / Engelbert Humperdinck) whereas the first one was Motown, the second has Equals, Herman's HErmits and Donovan and the 3rd rock based (Creedence Clearwater Revival / The Who..)
Daily Mix 6 has current stuff.
Your Summer Rewind has recent stuff in it.
Still I am not interested in their lists. I guess they are useful for those who are not able to write search programs.
And it would be useful if some of the musicians stopped making videos for youtube. I don't need nearly 400 songs to listen through... What's happening? It used to be closer to 250.

I agree about this being pretty pointless but release radar is mostly brilliant , it always finds my favourite acts new songs
I remember when you moaned when good songs don’t have videos now you have too many. It’s all on you nobody and I mean this nobody in the world spends us much time or puts so much effort into finding and listening to new music as you. Maybe you would get on better if you just let yourself be spoon fed more , as you said in the other thread it worked in the 80s,it still works now.
Is it really worth it , life is too short.

When I have festivals in the week I need my life extra easy. There is no retro list this week. But my search methods found me :PM. No other search method would have done.
Last week's playlist ended up being very strong once I filtered it down.

You do you just don't know you missed it until you hear it later on and think "if only I'd known that was out..."
If I could just find more people who like the same as me, I could get help filtering my long-lists. Milliways sometimes helps me a bit.
Where I perhaps could make life easier is shortening my chart and throwing away a lot of the more "medium" quality stuff. I don't want to miss out on a :PM, I probably don't care if I miss out on something that peaks at #70 in my chart.

Well its up to you. I only have 15 songs right now on my new release list and I got all of them from New Friday Playlist and Release Radar, yes I will probably add some more as they come out over the week and will have a quick scoot through everynoise.com and dazs chart to see if anything jumps out but most of these won't chart as it is, but in all time spent about an hour.

Do you ever use my chart as a source?
I think you do sometimes when I chart an artist you know, but not sure if you do in general

Do you ever use my chart as a source? I think you do sometimes when I chart an artist you know, but not sure if you do in general Top 20 , highest entries don't have time to go through all of it. But as i said before I am unlikely to chart them anyway as I have enough trouble squeezing in the ones I definitely want to chart from my favourites, it would have to be pretty amazing. And anyway you don't use mine at all. Only 2 of my top 10 don't have videos.

Well I enjoyed reading it whilst I waited for HF results. It does seem to be a never ending circle though. I spend 20 minutes finding new music and have about 30 songs I can't fit in at all. It's so easy. But only as easy as you let it be

Mine is pretty good - well it is personalised, so.
Highlights include "Souvenir" by OMD; "Feelings of Forever" by Tiffany; "Searchin' For My Rizla" by Ratpack, and lots and lots of stuff from 1989 ("Made of Stone" is my Stone Roses track). I also have Talk Talk's "It's My Life".
Yeah pretty listenable throughout.....
