Their style can be described as a blend of synthpop and glam rock, they can certainly right a pop song that's for sure, they have had 4 top 20 albums including a number 1 in their native Sweden and 10 top 40 singles, this was track one on their second album

Young Folks was, and still is lovely - the parent album with Amsterdam was also very good. Everything since was not really noteworthy.

When you think that you've got nearly as many songs in your chart as there are years since Jesus was born, then it doesn't seem that long ago he was here!

1951. Nine Inch Nails – Something I Can Never Have www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEW8riKU_tEI still recall the taste of your tears echoing your voice just like the ringing in my ears, my favorite dreams of you still wash ashore, scraping through my head 'till I don't want to sleep anymore. You make this all go away, you make this all go away, I'm down to just one thing, and I'm starting to scare myself, you make this all go away, you make it all go away. I just want something, I just want something I can never have. This is the "deconstructed" stripped down version of the song released in 2002 from And All That Could Have Been, it just adds to the haunting brilliance of the original

1949. Junior Senior – Move Your Feet www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPlQpGeTbIEI think everyone remembers this pop duo from Denmark, insanely catchy pop song that had just enough drums and guitar to get my attention, they never really followed it up, I remember shake your coconuts but they ended up being a 1 hit wonder

1948. Cobra Starship – Snakes On A Plane (Bring It) www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1wMyKQ6jUgThe song features William Beckett of The Academy Is..., Travie McCoy of Gym Class Heroes, and Maja Ivarsson of The Sounds, certainly a great lineup of artists and a brilliant cheesy pop/rock song recorded for ofcourse the Samuel L Jackson film Snakes On A Plane

1947. Fall Out Boy – Our Lawyer Made Us Change The Name Of This Song So We Wouldn't Get Sued www.youtube.com/watch?v=1AHcgVz2MpwIsland Records intervened when the band wanted to title the album's first track "My Name is David Ruffin And These Are The Temptations". Wentz stated "Our label said, 'You're going to get sued for doing that,' and our lawyer said, 'You're definitely going to get sued for doing that,' So we said, 'OK, why don't we immortalize you in a song?'"The group subsequently retitled the song "Our Lawyer Made Us Change the Name of This Song So We Wouldn't Get Sued".

1946. Bowling For Soup – Emily www.youtube.com/watch?v=keNRUzP2A2QAnother pop punk band rom America, there were more than a few good ones that broke the mainstream in the 00's, this was the follow up to "Girl All The Bad Guys Want" and I saw them live in 2006 which was probably the last time they released anything decent in "High School Never Ends"

1945. The Hot Melts – Sweetness Making Me Ill www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJbpvOPHzvgAnother Hot Melts song, this one is a lot more edgy and a better example of what their album is like, if you haven't heard of them and like 00's pop punk that are a little bit different then 2009's The Hot Melts is the album to check out

1944. Owl City – Umbrella Beach www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRpkRf99tz0At this point I'm sure I am flipping between really popular songs everyone knows and what I consider unheard gems, this one could be a bit higher but depending on my mood the high pitch vocal effects can be annoying, but then other times I think wow this is good

1943. InMe – Crushed Like Fruit www.youtube.com/watch?v=770SRk3ei6cThis one takes me back to MTV2 around 2003 from their debut album Overgrown Eden, it even reached #25 in the chart. They are still going today which is rare for a band formed around that time, most had very short careers
