I'd rather it were done with semi-finals then a final.
We also did a #2s poll and I ran a #3s poll in 2007. Perhaps not surprisingly "Blue Monday" by New Order was the most popular single to peak at #3. (It is also the biggest selling such single).

I'd be interested, I assume you'd do it up to now, with the #1s list? Not that there would be many from recent years going on my list...

But if the last list was done in 2006 I can think of quite a few from then until now that might get in. As I've pretty much finished the 1960s now I have an accurate record of exactly how all those songs did in my chart.
Of the Beatles UK #1s, 10 of them also reached #1 in my chart (although the Beatles also got to #1 in my chart with some others that were not UK #1s). Of those, the biggest were clearly "Day Tripper", "Eleanor Rigby" and "All You Need Is Love".

Certainly would be mighty interesting with quite a change in Haven members.
But this is a mammoth undertaking and takes months.
I can't begin to think how it would work having semi-finals.
It would be hard to think of anything recent making my list either but I think there would certainly be changes - your musical opinions do change.

If it was do e, it needs to be done the same way as before top 100, but maybe sent as a pm, and posted in the thread later? But as I'm not going to be doing it, it can be done however you want, depending on who adds it all up.

Because posters may see certain songs getting points and therefore mark them down, when we had 40 or 50 people doing it, it didn't matter, but this time we may only get 20, and so every mark counts. Saying that, it's nice for posters to count down their lists as well, boosts the post count and invites comments, so maybe they could be posted in the main thread after being counted down? I'm not that fussed to be honest.

Good luck with this. If you get enough people to vote I may do something similar featuring all time best female vocalists.

I can only see one song since 2006 that will make my top 100.

I can only see one song since 2006 that will make my top 100. I will have 6 songs, but some late # 1s (mostly from 2006-2009 period) have a good potential for successful result in summary. Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, Rage Against The Machine , Coldplay, maybe anybody else.
