No surprise crap batting lineup.England not got a settled opening partnership. Lost count of the number of players they have been in that position in the last 3 years. All of the bowlers are the same have nothing different Chris woakes cannot bowl a consistent line and length or bowl to a set field.

Seeing as on the last Ashes Tour when they lost 5-0 for a combination of reasons, the ECB & their friends in the media made Kevin Pietersen the scapegoat .... I wonder who they will blame this time for the selectors incompetence at not selecting 90MPH+ fast bowler Liam Plunkett; a spinner who could actually spin the ball like Abdul Rashid; allowing our best batsman Joe Root to prove he is an abysmal captain whilst impairing him as a superb batsman; and the continued farce of Alastair Cook & Stuart Broad auto-picking themselves, when on merit they are nowhere near good enough any more/at the moment (respectively).
But this early stage it looks likes they (well Trevor Bayliss, England's cricket coach) are blaming the BBC for their coverage of Stokes Bristol night club incident; and the Perth Avenue nightclub incidents involving Jonny Bairstow's 'headbutt' of Cameron Bancroft, & Ben Duckett's drink-pouring over James Anderson ...
It beggars belief at the sheer arrogance of the ECB.
After all it was the ECB who sold out to Sky/BT; and lack of Free-to-Air TV Coverage resulting in Cricket dying out in schools, and local clubs are struggling to get people to play the game. The ECB need to remember it is clubs that produce players who eventually sign for counties, and then England. But if that pool shrinks, then so will the calibre available because 6 years olds are unable to see to want to become the next Flintoff, Pietersen, Cook, Anderson, or Swann unless their parents pay out £50+ a month for Sky sports subscription.

And this debacle of a series isn't even on sky. Unless your one of the few that has BT Sport, you can't even watch highlights
