Don't think I ever charted him not until i did my retro pre 1987 charts anyway.

October 4th 1992 - October 10th 1992
Pearl Jam retain the number 1 spot for a second week, holding off competition from Manic Street Preachers, the highest new entry this week has to be Dreams by The Cranberries, the band's debut single "Dreams" was released in September 1992, followed by their first full-length album Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? in March 1993. Neither the album nor the single gained much attention, nor did a second single, "Linger" but when the band embarked on a tour supporting Suede, they caught the attention of MTV, which put their videos into heavy rotation. I'm also not usually a fan of hip hop but the #8 uk hit Jump Around by House of Pain is a classic and comes in at #23, next up we have he alternative rock of Ned's Atomic Dustbin, this was their second highest charting single peaking at #19, we also have some good new songs by Paul Weller and Thunder making up a strong top 40

House of Pain Jump well that's something for a teenage vetroplach back in the day. Still like it today.
Also, very fond of Dreams. It was quite different from the rest of the pack those days.

Wel you couldn't escape La La Long song could you back then. It was all over the place. I have to say it got overplayed and couldn't stand it but still see it deserved impact. But Toads do it for mi this week. Lovely song.
Have to mention Cure and Metallica newies - both parent albums are among greatest for me in the whole of 90s.

November 15th 1992 - November 21st 1992
Bon Jovi kept the faith that their time would come and it has, they move into my number 1 spot, Pulp, Inner Circle, Toad The Wet Sprocket and Charles & Eddie make big moves at the top end to make up an interesting looking top 10. Highest new entry this week is the first single from Neil Young's album Harvest Moon, it was a #7 hit in the US rock chart but didn't do much commercially, the album and follow up single Harvest Moon were amongst his biggest hits though, Guns N Roses released another fine song Use Your Illusion II, The Manic's released their 6th single from Generation Terrorists which just shows how strong that album was. Other notable inclusions include Helmet who had a minor hit in America with Unsung and The Prodigy who were starting to find their trademark sound, for me their 2nd album Music for the Jilted Generation (1994) is when they will really take off in my chart
1. (2.) Bon Jovi - Keep The Faith 2. (1.) The Cranberries - Dreams 3. (8.) Pulp - Babies 4. (7.) Inner Circle - Sweat (A La La La La Long) 5. (6.) Mudhoney - Suck You Dry 6. (10.) Toad The Wet Sprocket - Walk On The Ocean 7. (9.) Michael Bolton - To Love Somebody 8. (15.) Charles & Eddie - Would I Lie To You? 9. (13.) Thunder - Everybody Wants Her 10. (14.) Well deserved no1. I really liked this Bon Jovi era. Maybe even more than their 80's output.

November 22nd 1992 - November 28th 1992
Bon Jovi make it 2 weeks at #1 holding off Pulp. Highest new entry was no contest for me, straight in at #10 is Man On the Mon by REM, Lyrically, the song is a tribute to the comedian and performer Andy Kaufman with numerous references to his career including his Elvis impersonation, wrestling, and the film My Breakfast with Blassie. The song's title and chorus refer to the moon landing conspiracy theories as an oblique allusion to rumours that Kaufman's death in 1984 was faked. In at #30 we have the first single to be taken from Deacon Blue's fourth album Whatever You Say, Say Nothing, the single was a #14 hit in the UK and is my second favourite new entry this week. Elsewhere we have Carter USM with a decent cover of The Impossible Dream (#39), two nice pop songs from Bananarama (#46) and Kylie (#50) and in at #60 we have my favourite song from Pavements Watery, Domestic EP

Well deserved no1. I really liked this Bon Jovi era. Maybe even more than their 80's output. Yeah Bed of Roses, Always, This Ain't a Love Song and It's My Life will all chart high from this decade, well the latter is 2000 but I plan on continuing on to 2000 after 1999 ends

Well Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses is a monster opus. Unbelievable track with huge lyrics and construction of the song is just marvellous. I know by this time most people have Achtung Baby already and won¨t really bother byuing this unless collectors but anyway...
Don't care about Pulp's one, would rather see Sprockets taking it.
Saigon would be my second choice of the week.

Forgot all about Go West - never heard of them before or after - but this one is outstanding how it flows.

Go West had their biggest hit in 1985 with We Close Our Eyes then had a few more hits, of which Call Me and King Of Wishful Thinking were their most memorable for me.
They did have several top 20 hits up to 1993.
