Virtually their entire squad is made up of ex-professionals. Having had a look at their page on wiki and Harrogate Town's I disagree, there are some older players coming to the end of their careers at both sides, but I'd say Harrogate has more football league experience than Salford City. A lot of them look like youngsters who played a handful of games at a higher level, weren't successful and have dropped down a few divisions. Yeah, have bought the Non league paper for last couple of Sundays and there was hardly anyone I'd heard of in last weeks paper. The keeper is on loan from Nottingham Forest. Looking at Harrogate team I notice Scott Loach is the keeper. Didn't he used to play for Watford a decade ago and former U21 international?

West Brom aren't down yet, but a few teams can have their fates decided tonight...
Tuesday 24 April
Championship: Aston Villa will be in the play-offs if Cardiff win, as they'll no longer be able to catch the Bluebirds.
League One: Blackburn will return to the Championship if they match Shrewsbury's result - the Shrews would therefore be in the play-offs.
League Two: Accrington will seal the title if they avoid defeat at Newport. Chesterfield will be relegated if Morecambe avoid defeat, while Barnet would also go down if Morecambe win.
Scottish Championship: Dunfermline will definitely be in the play-offs if Inverness fail to win at 2nd-placed Livingston.
Scottish League Two: Stenhousemuir will be in the play-offs if they win at Berwick.

Chesterfield will be relegated if Morecambe avoid defeat, while Barnet would also go down if Morecambe win. Not correct. Barnet can still catch Grimsby.

If I were neutral I would want Shrewsbury to go up instead of Blackburn, but I'm not because I have a side interest.
So I want Blackburn to be promoted today so they're already promoted when they play us, and as we recently beat Shrewsbury I hope we can beat them in the playoffs.
Shrews will definitely be in the playoffs, as will Rotherham, then it's 2 from 3 of Scunthorpe, Charlton and Plymouth.
Of all those other teams, we did the double over Rotherham, Scunthorpe did the double over us, and against Shrewsbury and Plymouth we won one and lost one, all of those by a 2-0 scoreline to whichever team won.

Also just realised that MK Dons could go down tonight, if Oldham and Rochdale both improve their results and MK lose.

Blackburn are promoted back to the Championship at the first attempt, so Shrewsbury will be in the play-offs. Accrington lost, so aren't champions just yet. Chesterfield drop out of the football league for the first time since 1921. Inverness won to keep up the chase on Dunfermline, while Stenhousemuir could only draw at Berwick.

MK Dons not down yet, would have been better had Rochdale won, and been mathematically safe when they play us as well as an extra dropped point for Plymouth had that happened.
Blackburn getting promoted might mean they don't try so hard on Saturday too but then they are only 1 point behind Wigan so could go up as champions.
Rotherham already in the playoffs so might not try so hard against Plymouth next game.
We've dropped so many silly points this season, we'll certainly regret it if we just miss out on the playoffs, in particular not getting rid of Robinson a few weeks earlier.

Just to add a few from lower down the leagues, Altrincham are back in Conference North next season, as they won the evostick Premier and averaged crowds of 754. South Shields won evostick north and go into the Premier League next season, their average crowd was an amazing 1474! Basford won evostick south and also go into the Premier League next season, their average crowd was 192! And I think Goole AFC are going down into the NCEL Premier League next season and will be playing Knaresborough Town. Oh and Clipstone got a 2nd point this season!

Marske United will be promoted to what will be the Evostik East next season if they beat Seaham Red Star tonight.

Saturday 28 - Sunday 29 April
Premier League: Man United will seal their Champions League place on Saturday if Chelsea fail to win at Swansea, or on Sunday if they beat Arsenal. Liverpool will have theirs if they win vs Stoke and Chelsea lose. Burnley will be in the Europa League (qualifying rounds, at least) if they win and Leicester don't, or if they draw, Leicester lose and Everton fail to win. West Brom will be relegated unless they win and Swansea don't. Stoke will go down if they lose, Swansea win, and Crystal Palace, West Ham and Huddersfield all avoid defeat.
Championship: Cardiff will be promoted if they win and Fulham lose - Fulham would then be in the play-offs. Aston Villa will be in the play-offs unless they better Cardiff's result. Middlesbrough will be in the play-offs if they beat Millwall; if this happens, Derby will also be there if they win and Brentford don't. Burton will go down if they lose against Bolton; if this happens, Barnsley will also be down if they fail to win.
League One: Wigan will be champions if they win and Blackburn lose. MK Dons will be down unless they win and Rochdale and Oldham both lose. Northampton will be down if they lose and either Rochdale or Oldham win, or if they draw, Rochdale and Oldham both win, and Wimbledon avoid defeat.
League Two: Accrington will be champions unless they lose and Luton win. Wycombe will be promoted if they win, Exeter lose, and Notts County don't win - Exeter and Notts County would then be in the play-offs. Lincoln will join them unless they lose and Mansfield win, while Coventry will seal their place if they better Mansfield's result. Barnet will be relegated unless they win at fellow strugglers Morecambe.
More leagues later...

National League (final day - 12:30 kick-off) Three teams out of six will complete the play-off places: - Ebbsfleet (73 pts, +14) will be there if they avoid defeat at Torquay
- Fylde (72, +26) probably only need a draw at Wrexham
- Boreham Wood (72, +15) will make it if they beat bottom club Guiseley, or if they draw and Bromley and Dover both fail to win. Or if they lose, neither Bromley nor Dover win, and Wrexham do not both win and overturn a goal difference gap of 5.
- Bromley (70, +20) will be there if they win and one of: Ebbsfleet lose, Fylde lose, Boreham Wood don't win
- Dover (70, +17) need to win and hope two of the above teams slip up
- Wrexham (69, +10) need to win and hope that neither Bromley nor Dover win, and Boreham Wood lose, *and* that the 5-goal gap is overturned
Relegation: Guiseley, Chester and Torquay are down. Woking will go down unless they win and Barrow don't.
SPL: Celtic will win the league if they beat Rangers on Sunday. If Aberdeen fail to win on Friday, then Celtic will only need a point.
Scottish Championship (final day) St Mirren are promoted, Brechin are relegated, and Dumbarton will be in the relegation play-off. Two of the promotion play-off places are claimed by Livingston and Dundee United. Dunfermline will take the last place unless they lose and Inverness win (although a draw won't be enough if Inverness win by nine goals...)
Scottish League One: Raith will go up if they beat Alloa, but if they don't, then Ayr will overtake them if they better their result. The other team will join Arbroath and Alloa in the play-offs One of Queens Park and Albion will go down, while the other will be in the relegation play-off. To have a hope of survival, Queens Park must win and hope that Albion lose.
Scottish League Two: Montrose will be promoted unless they lose and Peterhead win. Stirling v Stenhousemuir is a play-off quarter final. Clyde can snatch a play-off place if they win and either: Stirling win; Stenhousemuir win and there's a six-goal swing; or that match is a draw and Clyde win by 6.

I just checked on the tables on the bbc site and Cowdenbeath will play the winner of Cove Rangers (Highland) v Spartans FC (Lowland), the initial play off matches are this Saturday 28th and next Tuesday 1st May, assume they will then play Cowdenbeath the following Saturday and Tuesday to see who gets in/stays in the Scottish league.

And excellent news for Marske, shame they still have 7 games left! Not such a bad thing when the league leaders only have 1! If we keep winning, we could win the title next Saturday, though it's more likely to go down to the final couple of games...

Blooming heck, Cove Rangers spanked Spartans 4-0 in the 1st leg of the Highland/Lowland league play off, looks like it's them against Cowdenbeath for a place in the league then!
