The Stanfields' 'Desperation' remains the song of the moment 4 weeks in, now the longest run at the top since I relaunched my weekly chart on 17 February.
Further down, sunny weather and upcoming holidays have helped summery-sounding songs with a less typical sound such as L.A. Salami, Cicada Rhythm and (despite the title) Jack Moy do well.
