Universal have released the Video Clip of 'When I Kissed The Teacher' from 'Mamma Mia! 2'.
As you can hear, the lyrics have been changed in parts. Also, the Teacher is no longer a Male. They now have a Female as the Teacher.
The routines in the Video, show that a lot of thought has gone into the staging of the Song. The Film will have no problem to be huge, if the rest of it looks as spectacular - and fun.
People will love the 'Fresh' ABBA Songs in it, as they are strong, but nowhere near as well known as the 19 Tracks on 'ABBA Gold'.
After all - the 4 or 5 Trailers for the Film made it look like nearly all of the Songs were being repeated from the 1st 'Mamma Mia!' Film. Only 'Fernando' and 'Angel Eyes' were 'Fresh' in the Trailers.

WATERLOO 'MAMMA MIA! 2' CLIP
Below is a less than 1 minute clip of 'Waterloo' from 'Mamma Mia! 2'. It is sung by Lily James, (who can sing), & Hugh Skinner, (who can't sing). The Clip is from Italy, as Universal seem to be 'pulling' the Clip as soon as it is added to YouTube - even though they released 'Waterloo' as a 'Single' a few days ago.
As you can see, 'Waterloo' is sung in a Napoleon Themed Restaurant, with the Waiters & Customers joining in...
The 'Young Donna' and the 'Young Harry' sing 'Waterloo'

The anniversary of two famous battles. Albeit not Waterloo.

Rubcale -- It is happening. There is to be some kind of 5 or 6 Hour ABBA 'Event', on Thursday 2nd September. It will 'Launch' at several Global Cities, at the same time. It ends at around 1 Minute to Mid Night, on the 2nd. At Mid Night, on Friday 3rd, at least 1 New ABBA Song will be Released - the 1st New ABBA Single, since 'Under Attack' in December 1982!
Further New ABBA Songs will follow. Maybe a New Album. The Venue for The ABBAtars is in London. It has a 3000 Seat capacity. There will be 8 Shows a Week. The Venue looks like it could be in the 'Star Trek' TV Series. All of these New ABBA Plans are called 'ABBA Voyage'. It is all true. Even the most cautious Fans realise that it is true. It is pointless to refuse to accept it, just because it has taken ages to - finally - happen. (All of the ABBA Groups on Face Book have accepted it. The days of doubt are over...). As you can see, The Venue for The ABBAtars is spectacular:LINK TO THE ABBA ARTICLE -- 27th AUGUSTlink

There was something on Sky News yesterday (Friday) about Abba so I assumed it was about the two new songs and the ABBAtars project. They've certainly taken their time to release them, it seems like years (it is, 3 years in fact!) since all of the stories about the songs began to circulate.

Robbie -- ABBA Recorded the 1st 2 New Songs in June 2017 - over 4 Years ago. They told the World about them on Friday 27th April 2018 - over 3 Years ago. It has long been hinted, that there are now more than 2 New Songs. Only ABBA, and a few other People, know how many New Songs there are. Some say 5, (The BBC etc.). Some say 8. Some say an entire Album.
Regarding the 1st 2 'New' Songs. Bjorn says that 'I Still Have Faith In You', is 'Timeless'. It appears to be about ABBA themselves. So, that one will be slow to medium paced, I guess. The 2nd 'New' Song is 'Don't Shut Me Down', and that one is faster. Like a 1970's Pop Song. 'I Still Have Faith in You', is - most likely - the Song, that ABBA Release, when Friday 3rd September begins. Before the 'Age of Streaming', it would easily have been their 10th UK No.1 Single. Now, it is not even certain, if it can reach the Top 10. This is due to a lack of Streaming, holding back 'Old' Acts, in the Singles Chart.
Queen's last Single reached No.95. Madonna's stalled at No.87. That is how it is, these days. We will see if ABBA can over-come this, and have a Big Hit. A New ABBA Album would be a different matter - easily a No.1. Their 10th, in the UK. Queen got their 10th UK No.1 Album, last October.

I’m getting very excited by this but at the same time have no idea what’s going or what to expect. If that’s a clip from any song that we are to expect, then count me in. This also could be the immense amount of flu medication I’ve taken today kicking in.

It has been pointed out, (elsewhere), that the short 'snippet' of Music exactly fits the Title of 'I Still Have Faith In You'. It is speculated, that the Music is part of the Intro.

Latest rumours:
The album will include 10 NEW SONGS. 2 of which will be in the hologram show. - We got a musicvideo for "I Still Have Faith In You" (Not sure what it's gonna be but the press kit includes pictures of ABBA in motion capture suits.) - The album campaign runs from Sep to Dec so I guess they're targeting a December release date - Only B&B appeared in the EPK video.

And...
I Still Have Faith In You / Don't Shut Me Down - Sept 2nd 6pm uk time
cover is just a picture of an eclipse.
I Still Have Faith In You is 5:10 (mostly a ballad that builds up and gets big at some parts then slows down again).
Don't Shut Me Down down is 3:58 (typical abba bop)

I Still Have Faith In You played on Five Live as embargo ended at 1800hrs.
Slightly disappointed - I quite liked it but it didn't have the hook I expected.
The second half was good as it seemed about to take off but then slowed down again.
It may very well be a grower.
