I was going to start an obituary thread in Gubbins but then I decided to do this instead...
RIP Scott Hutchison
Starting off with what is probably my absolute favourite song of theirs; definitely one of my favourite songs of the last 10 years

Also from "Pedestrian Verse". Absolutely brilliant lyric-writing.

I could easily just post all "Pedestrian Verse" tbh...

Agree with Woodpile my favourite as well, I saw them supporting Biffy Clyro one of the best gigs ever.

Thought I knew a couple of their songs, having watched the above videos, remember Woodpile and Backyard skulls. It's a real shame what happened

Agree with Woodpile my favourite as well, I saw them supporting Biffy Clyro one of the best gigs ever. I'll bet it was. Seen Biffy a few times but never FR. Really regret that now

This one has made me cry the last few days, so beautiful. I was due to see them for the first time next months. So terribly sad what happened to Scott.

A very considered response to yesterday's tragic news greendemon. And thank you. I had never (knowingly) heard any Frightened Rabbit before, so this thread has served as an interesting primer for me. I've clearly missed out.

Yes very underrated band they should be as big as bands like The National who are in a similar vein. I would say they are my 3rd favourite Scottish band, of this century , behind Biffy and Idlewild .

I've always been partial to their version of the N-Trance rave classic Set You Free.
