Oh dear... Charlton 2 Sunderland 1 Charlton have scored with just two seconds of added time to go. Lee Bowyer going crazy! And for once it's nothing to do with fighting with a team mate

And the final whistle has now gone. I was hoping Sunderland would win but they just can't hold on to a lead.
I do hope there's no trouble in the local pubs. I was in one of them watching the cup final against Portsmouth a month or two back and when Portsmouth scored a brawl broke out between some Newcastle and Sunderland fans. That's the problem with my town, it's a 50/50 split bteween Newcastle and Sunderland supporters and there is a history of trouble when both sets of fans head to the pub - in this case I bet many Newcastle fans will have gone crazy when Charlton scored.

So cruel to lose so late on I bet they didn't care about that when they did that to us on the first game of the season. Games play until the final whistle.

Most of us probably were but I'm someone who likes to see all the north east teams doing well. I've always said that so long as we finish above Sunderland and when the teams play each other we win (or at least draw) then I'm happy for Sunderland to do well...

Can relate to what Robbie is saying at non league level. Would rather the local teams in the area do well, and if they can play in the same division as my local team even better as derby games bring in bigger crowds. Obviously I wouldn't want other local teams to be higher in that division or beat my local team though!
Canterbury it seems were really going for promotion next season after their run to the semis of the Fa Vase. That was until they sacked their manager who had been part of the club for a long time, for comments he made to the local press. I suspect it may be harder to keep or attract players now.

Unconfirmed reports that Mike Ashley has agreed to sell Newcastle for £350m which is the price he has been holding out for the past few years. The report says that it is up to the Premier League to give it the go-ahead. How true it all is remains to be seen but the potential buyer is said to be the same person (a cousin of the Man City owner) who tried to buy Liverpool last year and was knocked back at the vetting stage as the bid was deemed not to be credible. However the sums involved there were far larger, £2bn.
Let's see how this one unfolds...

Here's an interesting graphic I saw over the weekend which I think is worth posting of the nationalities in percentage terms of Premier League teams. Which I think makes slightly depresing reading if you are English.
% of minutes by PL players:
Burnley 70%
Bournemouth 48%
Leicester 45%
So’ton 45%
Everton 36%
Cardiff 34%
Man U 34%
Spurs 32%
West Ham 31%
Palace 30%
Brighton 29%
Watford 28%
Fulham 24%
Liverpool 22%
Man C 22%
Huddersfield 21%
Wolves 19%
Newcastle 17%
Chelsea 7%
Arsenal 6%

Fascinating reading, and quite depressing as well, anyone watching the Cup Final tonight, and how do they think it will pan out? Did I read Sarri had a fit on the training pitch about something, seems genuine discord in there still, surely to Arsenal's favour. Just give us an end to end enjoyable game please.

What the hell is Savage doing there anyway? Did he ever even play in Europe?
