Watching (well, rewatching for me) 'Heroes' which I haven't seen in a very long time. I'm not sure if I even stuck with it after the second season. The first season, which we're just about to finish, is very good.
I can't believe I didn't pick up on how annoying Peter Petrelli is the first time I saw the series though. I mean, what a jerk!

Wisten (or something), a subtitled drama that started last night on BBC 4 that features Carrie Ann Moss, and I decided to give Inspector Montelbano a go, for the first time. I shall stick with them both

Not a series, but the last thing I watched was I'm About To Lose Control And I Think Joe Lycett

Just binge watched The White Princess and it was brilliant - Jodie Comer is such a great actress. Rack this one up as a 10/10 performance after Killing Eve and Doctor Foster.

Just finished The Morning Show (Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carell) - thought it was really good, bar a few questionable moments.
It does make me wonder if 'Hollywood' is attempting to divert attention on the 'Me Too' campaign towards American television, as opposed to within Hollywood itself. Both this show and the Bombshell movie (Nicole Kidman, Margot Robbie, Charlize Theron) use TV shows as the platform for the scandal. I know The Morning Show is technically a TV show and not a movie, but the majority of it's producers are typical Hollywood faces.

Line of Duty (S1, Ep1), just to see if it's as good as everyone says. It is.

Not really a series but I started the BBC's new Christmas Carol miniseries, but gave up part way through episode 2. I actually like the darkness and bleakness of it but the dialogue and the characters' behaviour just felt so contemporary it kept pulling me out of the story. Bob Cratchit asking Scrooge about his feelings, ffs

Just got to the key episode in the first series of Big Little Lies - which was a little plodding and repetitive at points but very very good, so want to see how the first series ends.
Did it get a third series commission?

Missed this (your post, and the show) - I had mixed feelings about The White Queen, the antecedent (overall it was good but there were some REALLY cringeworthy moments) but I do feel I should watch this at some point.

Well I'm back watching Call The Midwife for Series 9. It is keeping up its winning formula whilst moving into 1965 (Let's hope it never makes the same fatal mistake as Heartbeat did when it finished 1969 (That one episode starring Gary Barlow as a thieving rogue where he performed Space Oddity on the "joanna" and made a joke about that singer being certain to be a one hit wonder novelty artist ...); and then went back to numerous years throughout the 1960s instead of moving onto 1970). But I've given up on Doctor Who. Chibnall's approach as showrunner has been a total disaster IMHO. He has little grasp of Sci Fi, and has disregarded the vast history of Doctor Who, so there are no longer any Easter Eggs left to gather. Whilst the show itself has been infanticided to CBBC levels with a few (admittedly) good history lesson episodes thrown in. I gave the first two episodes of Nu Who Series 12 a chance. But it has not improved on its fundamental flaws making it about as worthwhile watching as those two Peter Cushing Doctor Who films from the 1960s. It might as well be called something else. But I'm definitely going to keep watching The Masked Singer UK (delighted to see it get off to a great start smashing Simon Cowell's BBC1 Dancing show by 2.5 to 1): I mean come on ....
Thinking out loud, who is the only member out of the girl group formed out Popstars: The Rivals who has not yet done a Reality TV show since they split ?

Dougal Death In Paradise - nice scenery. Pretty rubbish episode. Can't wait for Ardal to go.
Tonight there's a new thing, starring David Tennant - Deadwater Fell, C4 at 9pm. I'll give that a go.

Finally finished The Witcher - it was brilliant. Very atmospheric, funny at turns, moving at others, and some brilliant acting esp. by Henry Cavill. I gather it hasn't impressed some fans of the books but as I haven't read them, it was refreshing to go into a fantasy TV series with much less investment than I had with GoT.

The Dark Crystal on Netflix. Absolutely incredible. This is on our watchlist! We don't have a Netflix subscription at the moment - waiting for a few other things to start - but I've heard good things so I am looking forward to it! Love the movie. Just started this, finally! Really enjoying it so far. And it just looks stunning.
