And another I missed which I will chart next week what is wrong with me. This is a great bit of indie chillwave, the bassline is gorgeous. Its like The Drums meets Day Wave

Alice Merton had a big hit in my chart in 2017 called No Roots peaking at #8 which then appeared to get popular about a year later and appear in other people's charts.
Misnamed videos like that called all sorts of confusion with me. Most "lyric videos" have no video content at all, and are just lyrics over pretty much nothing and were automatically excluded from my chart. My filter would have knocked that out just for calling it a lyric video.
Fortunately I don't bother with any of that stuff anymore.
No Roots is better. More rock-chick, your song is too R&B for my liking.

I just looked it up: No Roots reached #52 in the UK chart on 10 May 2018. But it reached #8 in my chart on 25 February 2017. That its youtube video is dated in January 2017 shows I did indeed chart it when it first came out.

Yes is was to do with global release dates, when first released it flopped completely in the UK but after reaching #1 in France and top 10 in many other European countries, it was repromoted here but even then it took an age to chart, even though all the major BBC stations played it and just as it went top 75, the radio play fizzled out but #52 for a song like that is a very good result these days. Also the video was taken off YouTube and only put back on a few weeks after the song had already been played on Radio 1, it was all a bit of a mess.
And yeh of course I prefer 'No Roots' it reached #1 in my chart the 2nd time and yes good point about lyric videos as these days a lyric video can actually be a proper video as well, that's why nothing beats your own eyes over algorithms

Was hoping for some new HAIM but not appeared yet so lets have a track from the Jimmy Eat World album, this is a weird one as its probably the least typical track on the record as its very old school apart from this.
