16/02/2019 Jenny Lewis - Heads Gonna Roll
The former Rilo Kiley singer's self penned song (featuring Ringo Starr on drums) written about an unnamed former boyfriend whom she parted waves with because of his increasingly disturbing & controlling bordering on abusive behaviour. You did not need to be Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Poirot, or Inspector Morse to work out it refers to the producer of her previous 2014 album The Voyager, one Ryan Adams.

17/02/2019 Gang Of Four - Paper Thin
The Leeds post punk band now consisting of Andy Gill (the sole remaining original member of the quartet), Thomas McNeice, John "Gaoler" Sterry, & Tobias Humble release their 10th studio album Happy Now out later this year. This has a very Depeche Mode meets Nine Inch Nails sound.

19/02/2019 Aldous Harding - The Barrel
The New Zealand indie folk singer/songwriter releases her 3rd album "Designer" on 4AD/Flying Nun records on 26th April 2019. Reuniting with John Parish, producer of "Party" her second album whom co-produced this album. She is managed by fellow New Zealander Scott Maclachlan whom was Lorde's manager (& still manager of Courtney Barnett, as well as cutting his teeth managing Crowded House/Neil Finn/The Finn Brothers) and the inspiration for Murray Hewitt, manager of the fictional pop duo Flight Of The Conchords) for her first album "Pure Heroine" before she ditched him.

20/02/2019 Teenage Fanclub - Everything Is Falling Apart
The Scottish power pop institution are back with original members Raymond McGinley on vocals and guitar and Norman Blake on guitar, along with Francis Macdonald on drums, David McGowan on bass, and Euros Childs on keys. (Founder member bassist, vocalist, Gerard Love left the band in 2018). As yet it is unclear whether this is a one off or the first material from the follow up album to 2016's Here.

The Brixton born grime artist David Orobosa Omoregie released this powerful ballad follow up to "Funky Friday" yesterday, and its video features a whole host of famous British people of Black origin.
Little wonder The S*n newspaper today castigated this track calling for it to be banned claiming that it is lyrics will "instigate an increase in violence in the UK".
The same so called newspaper whose online version thia afternoon have run an appalling piece in support of the English Defence League & UKIP alliance initimidatory protests (including the famous Mancunian Stephen Patrick Morrissey) outside the BBC, Salford studios over Panorama's up coming expose on Tommy Robinson so attacking the British broadcaster, and anti-fascist counter protestors...
