25/03/2019 Fat White Family - Tastes Good With The Money
The South London experimental indie rock assemble release their third album Serfs Up! on 19th April 2019 on Domino Record Co. This is the second single from it and is a sarcastic celebratory song about all the toffs/rich people are going to make a killing out of Brexit (thanks to the "stupidity" & "gullibility" of the poor & uneducated) with a suitably caustic Monty Python dressing up surreal video directed by "Irish Backstop" aka Roisin Murphy.

Omg I love her! This is a proper single finally?? Will check it out later.
Although sounds like she has gone Lana Del Rey on this but that's fine as long as the album is as varied as her debut.

To my ears it's more Lana Del Rey if produced by the Velvet Underground (John Cale) sounding rather than Lana Del Rey being produced by Lee Hazlewood.
There must be something strange in the music waters today as
sums up hardcore Madonna Bees & Little Monsters on the internet over the two Italian American females recording in the studio together today, when you consider the bad blood between those two fan bases. ... Whatever next Taylor Swift and Katy Perry ....

29/03/2019 Her's - Under Wraps
Three outstanding new choices today .... but I had to go for ....
Liverpool surf-pop duo Her’s (Stephen Fitzpatrick and Audun Laading) and their tour manager Trevor Engelbrektson died in a car crash yesterday while traveling to a show in Santa Ana, California, the final of their 19 sold out gigs touring America. They met at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, from which they both graduated in 2016 and were due to fly back to the country and perform a hometown gig on Sunday as part of Radio 6 Music annual 3 day weekend festival. This was their last single from November 2018. The less said about some negative comments left on the youtube comments from stupid so called Viola Beach fans .... its not expletive SAW X-Factor contest ...

I can imagine those comments as it was the first thing that went to my mind, it is hardly the best way of getting a hit. And it is sad for Hers that they will be compared with that similar accident but at the same time we shouldn't all start buying and streaming unknown or obscure bands so much that they get a hit single just because something tragic happened to them.
If there is that many indie fans out there trying supporting the grassroots bands while they are still able to enjoy their fame. Get behind these bands now not when it is too late! Preaching to converted but you know...
But yes some huge returning acts with songs out today. I haven't listened to any of them yet my front runner is still a song from yesterday.

30/03/2019 Modest Mouse - Poison the Well
The first new material by the Washington DC based alternative rockers since 2015’s Strangers To Ourselves which to me sounds like a cross between the Black Keys & Pixies. As of yet no word on a 7th album...

01/04/2019 Good Cop Bad Cop - Taste The Danger
AKA the new project from Arctic Monkeys’ Matt Helders and pal Joe Carnall of Milburn. The self-titled debut album hit shelves literal and physical on 29th March. This is the second promo single from it (after ‘Silk and Leather’). They are doing a short 7 date UK tour starting at Glasgow King Tut’s (April 13th).
