Day 11: (11/01/2019) The Proclaimers - Sunshine On Leith
I'm a day behind again, but hope to catch up later. This may well be one of my favourite #41s of all-time, and is arguably the Edinburgh twins' best song.

Day 12: (12/01/2019) Mike Oldfield - Man In The Rain
How have I never heard this before? Featuring Cara Dillon on vocals, it is taken from the 1998 album 'Tubular Bells III' and it is magical! It has a feel of 'Moonlight Shadow' about it, which is probably why I like it so much.

Day 13: (13/01/2019) Adeva - In And Out Of My Life
Inspired by another thread I dug out Adeva's debut album, which I haven't listened to all the way through in a good 25 years I reckon. This was originally her debut single in 1988, but was later a hit when sampled by OnePhatDeeva in 1999.

Day 14: (14/01/2019) Nirvana - Heart-Shaped Box
This is just another one that I hadn't heard in a long time.

Haha, that would have been a good one actually. Maybe I'll save it for another day.

Day 15: (15/01/2019) Psychedelic Furs - Love My Way
I haven't had time to come up with anything new today, but here's one from 1982 that I haven't heard in a while, which I never tire of. I hadn't realised that it only reached #42 though.

I keep forgetting to visit this forum and so have only just discovered this rather brilliant thread! Thanks especially for the reminder of The La's album, I haven't played it in ages so you've inspired me to dig it out. I didn't have time to do this yesterday, and only had the radio on at work. This is the one which put me in a better mood when it came on: Day 9: (09/01/2019) Tears For Fears - Everybody Wants To Rule The World
I heard this on the radio too the other day, unfortunately it was the Trevor Horn/Robbie Williams cover which had rather the opposite effect on my mood The original needs no improvement for me but if it has to be covered then I don't mind this one:

I'm not keen on the Robbie version at all. That Lorde version is good though, although you can't beat the original!

Day 16: (16/01/2019) Sweetbox - Everything's Gonna Be Alright
I don't know what made me think of this song today after so long, but I had forgotten how much I liked it. Originally released in 1997 it reached #5 in the U.K. in 1998.

Day 17: (17/01/2019) Marc Bolan & Gloria Jones - City Port
A great little duet between Marc Bolan and his girlfriend at the time, which was the B-side to their 'To Know Him Is To Love Him' single. It came out in 1977, the same year that he died.

Day 18: (18/01/2019) Mud - Tiger Feet
I make no apologies for this slice of seventies cheese for a friday night! I mainly chose it as I love this TOTP performance from 1974. It just epitomises music being about just having fun!

Day 19: (19/01/2019) Esther Williams - Last Night Changed It All
I'm still a day behind, but here's a piece of lost seventies soul from 1976.

Day 20: (20/01/2019) These Animal Men - You're Always Right
Nineties Britpop band who I know nothing about, but I stumbled across this song today which I quite like.

Day 21: (21/01/2019) Melody Club - Electric
In celebration of Haven Factor 6, I have decided to dedicate this week's tracks of the day to the former winners of the contest. Starting with the winners of Haven Factor 5, who I hadn't even heard of this time last year!

Ditto.
The find of The Millennium.
I have managed to get a copy of their Let's Celebrate album basically a Greatest Hits - simply brilliant!

Day 22: (22/01/2019) Kim Wilde - Child Come Away
We go back two Haven Factors ago now, and the surprise winner of HF4 was Chiswick's Kim Wilde. This one only reached #43 but is as good as some of her bigger hits.
