Share your all-time favourite album tracks, which you always wished to see on single. The songs, which you prefer over official singles or even any album track was your favourite song of that singer/group.
P.S : of course I mostly talk about the physical era, because now every track is available for downloading.

I like to start with the most favourite group on Haven.
My top 3 alternative/additional singles choices for Blondie.
11.59
Album : Parallel Lines
Four singles were released in UK, but the album is brilliant, so they could milk it a little more.
Suzy & Jeffrey
My second favourite song from Blondie (only behind "Sunday Girl"), was released only as B-side of "The Tide Is High" single.
Danceway
Album : Hunter
I'm not a fan of the selected singles from "Hunter", because they sounds a little different in comparison with their previous material.
Other personal favourites : Platinum Blonde, Angels On The Balcony, Accidents Never Happen

Kylie's Your Disco Needs You should have been a single in the UK - even Kylie agrees and blamed "the powers that be" that it wasn't. I think it was released in Germany and elsewhere though.

I would have said 'One way or another' from Parallel Lines.

I would have said 'One way or another' from Parallel Lines. "One Way Or Another" was the single in United States. Also "I'm Gonna Love You Too" was released on single and became # 3 in Belgium and # 6 in Netherlands.

"You Disco Needs You" is my second favourite Kylie single (behind "Tears On My Pillow"). This song wasn't a single in UK, but charted at #152 on the basis of import sales.

Let's remember my three previous Haven Factor acts.
Amy Macdonald - Life In A Beautiful Light
Titled track from her third album and my favourite Amy Macdonald song.
Top 2 songs from my favourite female singer Geri Halliwell, they are "Circles From The Moon" from "Scream If You Wanna Go Faster" and beautiful titled track from very underrated and old-fashioned album "Passion".
Other personal favourites : Goodnight Kiss, Strength Of A Woman, I Was Made That Way, Love Is The Only Light

YVA - Grozio Fabrikas
My third favourite song from my all-time # 1 precious Lithuanian girl group YVA. "Grozio Fabrikas" (Beauty Factory) was album track on ladies' second album "Katytes" (Cats).
P.S : Lithuania don't have singles market, but this song also didn't have any TV and radio airplay.

Amy MacDonald's 'The Game' is one of my favourite non-singles ever.

From the three Altered Images albums. Firstly, Happy Birthday:
^ not sure this would have got much airplay, and it would surely have had to come out before the title track, but it would have been an even more startling release than "A Day's Wait". I have the demo version which is even more astounding, its introduction lasts a few minutes. You get a bit more of the darkling menace from the magnificent Peel Session version:
Secondly, Pinky Blue:
^ the closing track and the perfect way to finish off the album. Cocteau Twinsesque. Should be a film theme or something to turn it into the hit it really ought to have been. It could indeed be the first-ever dreampop cut...
Thirdly, from Bite:
^ in a bizarre decision by Epic, this was only on the cassette version of the LP. Cannot understand why, it's a brilliantly constructed angular take on pure pop. The bridge of this one just melts me.

We Are The Pipettes...really, every track could have been a single, it is the greatest collection of would-be hits on any album ever released. It sounds like a compilation. But if I had to pick one, it would have been this change of direction, to show their musical depth...

I don't have time to get into album tracks as much as I used to but my favourite song of the last 15 years that wasn't a single is this. taken from Filter's third album 'The Amalgamut' It is just a huge radio rock song!! but not even a video Filter - The Only Way (Is The Wrong Way)

Thinking of fellow Haven Factor 6 entrants:
From the 1981 album Dare:
From the 1985 album The Head on the Door:
From the 1996 album Casanova:

Now let's deep into some my all-time favourite albums.
allSTARS* - The Greatest Love Story
All four allSTARS* singles easily were # 1s with combined 23 (!!!) weeks on the top in my chart (Best Friends - 7 weeks, Things That Go Bump In The Night - 5 weeks, The Land Of Make Believe - 7 weeks and Back When - 4 weeks).
H and Claire - Another You Another Me
Iconic "Another You Another Me" album also gave 4 number one songs for my chart. Titled track was written in 80s by ABBA members Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson.

Little Boots - Mathematics
"Hands" is very rare type of album, when almost every song deserves to be a single.

I loved "Hands". In fact there were much much better choices on the album to go for than "Earthquake". I was personally more disappointed "Stuck On Repeat" didn't get a proper single release.
I was always thought it was a bit of a shame this ended up as just an album track on "Tangled Up".

^ I love, but not as a single - but absolutely a great album opener.
I’m pretty sure this was lined as a single from Taller In More Ways - but it’s 100 times better than Red Dress and Follow Me Home (and Ugly) - but Keisha didn’t like it, so album track it remained.
