DEBUTS: "Groove Disco" (first out last summer) is the top debut. In this instrumental, Contemporary House jam, Maxdal takes a nice melody on a musical joy ride. Yet another reminder that words are not always needed in a smooth Dance track. Close on his heels is "A Brief Lesson In French" by new artist House Arrest NYC. It samples the Kool & The Gang classic "Summer Madness" (if you can go back that far). It's also in a vocal version which is almost as good as the instrumental mix. DJ PP & Thousand Nights close out the debuts with "Love The Night". This Disco track samples two songs! The better known "I'm Ready" from Kano provides the music and the lesser known Delicious Inc.'s "Love Me Or Leave Me" provides the lyrics. They make for one interesting combination.
