Sounds like a solution worth looking into to me, it's always sad when an animal loses its life but this always comes up when 1 horse accidentally passes away when an estimated 13,352 horses died today raised purely for slaughter by the top 8 horse meat producing countries, raised purely for profit in basic conditions often inhumane in oder to maximise profits. That's 4.7m a year, I know some people don't like racing but the horses are very well looked after in the grand scheme of things, maybe the best looked after in the world but anything to help get the deaths as close to Zero as possible is very welcome.

I've never liked jump racing. The only times I ever bet on a horse (not that it's very often) it's always on flat racing.
