Starting a bit early this year...
Saturday 30 March
Premier League Huddersfield will become the second PL team to be relegated in March, if they lose and Southampton and Burnley both win.
National League Braintree will be relegated if they fail to win. Even if they do win, they'll be down if Boreham Wood win and Dover avoid defeat.
Scottish League One Arbroath will be promoted if they win and Raith lose.

Huddersfield end their two-season stay in the Premier League with the joint-earliest relegation in terms of games played. Braintree also went down, despite lifting themselves off the bottom with a win. Bottom club Maidstone are not relegated yet due to a game in hand. Fate in the balance
Arbroath lost and Raith won, so the equation will be the same for them next weekend.

Premier League Man City will have their CL place sealed for them if Chelsea lose at home to West Ham on Monday.

Berwick are heading for the playoffs in Scotland Div 2 vs Cove Rangers/East Kilbride, and I fear for their chances of staying up, as they have rarely seen a win this season...

Celtic could only draw, so their coronation will have to wait for at least a couple of weeks.

Wednesday 10 April
Championship Ipswich will be relegated if they lose, and Wigan, Millwall and Reading all win. Bit of a long shot, especially since Reading are away to Norwich.

Weren't they only recently relegated to Div 2, too? Nah, don't think so, been down there for a while. Things were going well on Saturday, 0-0 at halftime, then losing 6-0 by the 73rd minute, it's just awful! Last promoted in 2007, losing our main striker to Edinburgh City is what has killed us this year Just checked and Blair Henderson left a while ago, think it was losing Darren lavery this season that seems to have stopped the goals

They almost gave them a leg down, and Ipswich were one goal from going down at one point, but Wigan and Reading lost leads.

13-14 April
Premier League Liverpool have already sealed their CL place for next season, and Man City can join them if they win or Liverpool avoid defeat.
Championship Ipswich will go down unless they win and one of Millwall, Reading or Wigan drop points.
League Two Lincoln will achieve another promotion if they better Bury's result, or if they win and either Mansfield or Milton Keynes don't.
National League The remaining two relegation places can be decided: Aldershot are down unless they win and one of: Dover lose, Boreham Wood lose, Dag+Red don't win; Havent & Waterlooville are down if they lose ground on those teams.
Scottish Championship Ross County will be promoted if they win and Dundee Utd don't - this would put Dundee Utd in the play-offs, and they'd be joined by their opponents Ayr if Ayr better Dunfermline's result.
Scottish League One Arbroath will go up unless they lose and Raith win - Raith would then be in the play-offs. Forfar will be there too with a win, or a draw if Montrose lose.
Scottish League Two Annan Athletic will be in the play-offs if they avoid defeat at home to Stirling.

Love this thread. The promotion/relegation decisions always creep up on me. One moment we seem to be weeks away from anything being decided, and the next moment the outcomes are settled. Dundee Utd 2-1 Ayr was a Friday night game. So Ross will have to wait at least another week. Whilst their victory against Partick today should be a formality, their next match is away to Ayr, so it could be a fortnight to wait. With their last two games against Queen of the South and Falkirk, their promotion isn't under threat.

13-14 AprilPremier LeagueLiverpool have already sealed their CL place for next season, and Man City can join them if they win or Liverpool avoid defeat. Man City sealed their top 4 place (actually, their top 2 place) with a win. Relegated last weekendIpswich slip out of the Championship, while wins for three fellow strugglers mean Aldershot and Havant & Waterlooville complete the National League relegation picture. Promoted last weekendLincoln are promoted! Three teams can still catch them, but Mansfield and MK Dons play each other on the last day, so Lincoln are mathematically up. Meanwhile, Arbroath are finally up after a draw at lowly Brechin - so Raith are in the play-offs, as are Annan in Scottish League Two. Fate in the balanceDundee Utd's win means that they and Ross County are still battling for promotion, while Ayr are still looking over their shoulders, mathematically at least Forfar only drew, and are now a point from the play-offs. Roll of Promotion13/4: Lincoln (L2), Arbroath (SL1) Roll of Relegation30/3: Huddersfield (PL), Braintree (NL); 2/4: Fulham (PL); 6/4: Maidstone (NL); 13/4: Ipswich (C), Aldershot, Havant & Waterlooville (NL)

Race To The Championship
Liverpool's 4 remaining games:-
Cardiff (A) Huddersfield (H) Newcastle (A) Wolves (H)
They'll be very disappointed with anything other than 4 wins.
Which means Manchester City would need to win all of their 5 remaining games:-
Tottenham (H) Manchester Utd (A) Burnley (A) Leicester (H) Brighton (A)
They should win 4 of those. But the Manchester derby is the challenge. Could it be that Manchester Utd gift Liverpool the Championship ?

Shouldn't that be race to the title, championship is the league below the premier league or premiership or whatever it is called currently Ipswich at their lowest point since 1957 I think? Fair play to Lincoln, they bought some good players, and do what they do very well. I just hope they beat everyone they play, else Tranmere could get Top 3. Interesting that we drew with them both times this season, and beat them in the checkatrade thingy cup.

Wednesday, WSL: Yeovil will be relegated unless they win and Everton lose.
