Personally, the video has put me off the song as it gives off slightly tragic "You Rock Me World" seen it all before, but done much better by the same artist vibes. Still it looks like Taylor Swift will be dominating your discussions tomorrow. Whilst I & several other music bloggers) hoping a track dropped onto the internet on April 1st by an unknown named artist which has picked up airplay & praise across hipster radio stations & blogs is actually Celine Dion talk/rapping over a very catchy taut electronic beat over the track (and which Mark Ronson has been playing in his weekly Beats DJ set) with speculation it is the same track Lady Gaga offered to (but was rejected by) Madonna for her latest album. Not least as Ryan "Deadpool" Reynolds is directing/shooting a video for the French/Canadian diva right now with her in dominatrix gear and with a load of drag queens & body builders..
And that's not to mention the slapdown Madonna has received in an unusually candid Paul McCartney interview. Where he has called her out for being a hypocrite over being vocal in political/social/environmental issues and only to constantly undermine them, such as her taking a load of cash to play the ESC in Israel after being supportive of the Palestinian cause, and previously criticized Radiohead for playing there.
And he slaughtered her over "Express Yourself/Born This Way"-gate. (In the same interview he expressed his displeasure & alarm over the result of the Blurred Lines v Margin Gaye estate plagiarism case).
PM: On the latter's Born This Way: "Any trained musician & songwriter knows that is simplest chord progression (5- 4 -1); and the most basic three chords (E - D - A). Only a talent of this caliber can take these chords we've heard used thousands of times and create such a magnificent and beautiful song, with such a powerful message. For anyone to have the audacity to claim it was a rip off of one particular song in question is reliant of the ignorance of non musicians and songwriters. The fact that Madonna choose to do that in such a public way spoke volumes about her questionable character in certain situations. But I guess that is exactly why she has survived for so long in this industry, even if the cost is to her reputation among her peers."
Ouch! I guess Macca has picked up that mantle that the late David Bowie had against "The Margaret Thatcher Of Pop".

I find it a very moving song particularly in the bowel department

Completely over Medellin already - although I do really like the next track "I Rise".

I think it's better than Medellin at least, but still not very excited by the sound of this album

This is maybe my favourite so far of the three. And in fairness they're all mostly better than anything from the last album.

Loving the Medellin remixes - would be great if she does this at Eurovision (if she appears!)

Crave is very good! I’m now looking forward to this album - Medellin I keep yoyo-night between really like and not so sure - but on the whole the three tracks so far are very promising and much better than nearly all her last album.
Where’s the catch?

Oh, I forgot we haven’t got to Bitch, I’m Loca yet.
In spite of this, I remain optimistic.

It just keeps getting better. 'Future' is fantastic and easily my favourite so far. It should have been the lead single!
