SPOTLIGHT (LINKS): #1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28, 29 (most others can be found on YouTube). Chart colors best viewed when logged in.
DEBUTS: 'Lonely" from Groove Assassin & Sean McCabe is the top debut. Janet Jackson provides the vocals (they sample just a few lyrics from her song "Someone To Call My Lover"). Contemporary House at it's best! This much faster retake is both fluffy and progressive as the rhythms keep evolving. Frank Delour takes a different route in his remix of "Electricity" by Dua Lipa & Silk City. He floats it all on a cloud over Chic's "I Want Your Love"! The result is the MOST DANCEABLE mix for this song in my opinion.
Daniele Baldi (when you're hot you're hot) returns to the chart with his 3rd song of the year thanks in part to a fabulous remix by Pagany. "Party" samples the recent "It's Your Time To Party" Dwayne W. Tyree's 2018 charted track (which itself was a sample project). His version was more progressive and Electro than this more mellow and funky Disco sounding remix. Nice! Moon Rocket & Re-Tide close out the debuts with "People Everywhere" which blends Progressive House and Electro House together. Their sound takes us on a musical joy ride as they continue to mold and work on their enjoyable, mostly instrumental melody.
Dance, Remake & Underground House ChartON THIS BI-WEEKLY CHART
*Debuts enter at the bottom and are listed in order of strength. *Tracks are grouped together (like horses in a race). Tracks in one group/race can overtake those in another. *A track can jump.............by making a debut in the official U.S. Dance, Pop or Urban charts (SUPER TRACK). *Tracks are usually removed after 17 weeks, but can continue if a second/sister track steps forward.
