Paralympic table tennis champion Will Bayley MBE is the tenth celebrity to be confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing 2019. The 31-year-old world number one, who will be competing at Tokyo 2020, had just got back from training when he announced the news. Will was born with arthrogryposis, which effects all four of his limbs, and confessed it would "massively" effect his performances. He said: "I’m so proud to be on the show, it’s my family’s favourite show. I have no dance experience at all, but I hope I can do well. I want to inspire people with a disability- that would mean a lot to me. I want to prove to people I can do this."

Made In Chelsea's Jamie Laing is the eleventh celebrity to join this year’s Strictly Come Dancing lineup. The news was announced on Loose Women, and it seems the Made In Chelsea Star is more than excited. He said: ‘I am beyond thrilled to be asked to be on Strictly, the only person potentially more thrilled is my mother. I have finally become the son she hoped for.’ Jamie said on the show: ‘I’ve known for about a month, I’m not very good at keeping secrets. I couldn’t tell my mum, every so often she would go “are you doing the show?” ‘So hey, surprise mum,’ he laughed. Talking about her reaction, the star continued: ‘She is very excited, I think it is one of those shows that not only do you get to learn a talent and things like that, but at last she will be proud of me.’

Strictly Come Dancing announced the 14th celebrity contestant to take part in this year's series - and it's James Cracknell. The former rowing World Champion shared his excitement, saying: "I'm really looking forward to being a part of Strictly this year. Having spent so many years mucking around in a rowing boat with big men in tight lycra, it’s time I learned a new skill. I need to apologise to my kids in advance for the embarrassment."

Anneka Rice has been announced as the final celebrity to join this year’s Strictly Come Dancing. The 90s TV presenter, 60, was rumoured to be one of the final contestants and a ‘top signing’ for the show this year. The news was announced on Steve Wright in the Afternoon on BBC Radio 2 this afternoon. Anneka was last seen on screens as part of Celebrity Hunted, and earlier this year revealed she was once offered the role of a Bond Girl, which she turned down. Joking about her dancing skills, Anneka admitted she’s never danced in front of her family and her son’s thought the rumours were a joke. ‘I haven’t danced since I was seven and Miss Beer sent me home from my ballet class because I was hopelessly uncoordinated,’ she said.

Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing has pulled out of this year's Strictly Come Dancing after injuring his foot while recording the launch show.
He will be seen in the pre-recorded launch episode on BBC One on Saturday, but won't play any further part.
"I'm absolutely devastated that I'm unable to continue in the competition," the 30-year-old said. "I was so excited to hit the dance floor."
At the weekend, he was seen on crutches and with a protective boot on his foot. No details have been released about whether he will be replaced.
