Idlewild - Dream Variations Idlewild announced their first album in four years with ‘Interview Music’ and dropped the psychedelic Dream Variations as the first single, its different to their usual stuff but it has a great groove to it and they were fantastic when I saw them live touring this release.

196. Hot Milk - Candy Coated Lie$ Emo power pop rockers Hot Milk get better and better with every single, this 4 piece from Manchester are unlucky to be this low but it was a November release that charted low but has since climbed to #8 in my chart

Calva Louise - Sleeper Calva Louise are a three-piece band from London but the members are from Venezuela, France and New Zealand, they released their debut album this year which was paint by numbers indie rock then in November they hit us with this monster of a track from their Interlude For The Borderline Unsettled EP

Swimming Girls - I Don't Wanna Get to Heaven Swimming Girls are an dark electro pop four piece from Bristol, you can always count on TheThorne to come across bands like this and I found them from him charting 1 2 Many but last month they announced via Twitter that after four years of working together they’ve decided to split to “follow new creative ideas”.

193. Keane - The Way I Feel The Way I Feel was the first single from Cause and Effect which was their first album for 7 years, they are no longer a singles band but the album peaked at #2 and had some great singles with one more to come in my countdown.

192. The Unlikely Candidates - Strange Love American Alt Rock band The Unlikely Candidates had another good year in my chart, they are becoming regulars and sound more like Panic! At The Disco than PATD do, they have a big mid 2000's sound and I love it
