I don’t really know what’s it’s based on but I think i read before it’s like a mix of sales / streams etc

but what qualifies them to be a heritage artist? Why is it 99% white males?
What about Kylie/Mel C/Sheryl Crow/Alanis Morissette who have all released recently?
Its like Mike Read's personal chart

Did they use random.org to calculate the positions, looks like to me by the list at bottom a streaming chart. maybe wrong.

This is clearly a personal chart compiled by someone / some people who are exploiting their fame / notoriety. As such, this thread should be moved to the personal charts forum, where Mark can continue to share it, and others can comment. But it has no place in the UK Charts forum.

That wouldn't work as there are too many reissues. They're supposedly championing new music which is overlooked by the mainstream stations

I had a listen to the top 2, and they're ok but certainly not what I would have put at the top!

Pretty meaningless chart IMO, but nice to see a Sam Cooke tribute at the top ~ I wasn't aware of this before looking, so gave it a quick listen. Not bad, not great, no way would it ever trouble the OCC's singles chart, but then I guess none of these songs will.

but what qualifies them to be a heritage artist? Not sure about this one but there is a programme called the Retro Chart which does a Top 10 countdown each week who include any act who made their original chart debut 25 years ago or before.
It seems to be less random. Here's the latest chart..

That one looks more valid

And i think that's the point of the chart to promote new music from heritage charts and help their songs get discovered
