They can't really promote in a lockdown and with one member living 8 hours away! They smashed two singles out within four months, and have shot the video for the next. I imagine that will go to radio and the video release mid-late next month and some more promo once restrictions are loosened.

That's a banger, perfect for the New Music Friday placement etc.

In my typical style, I like her alot more when she's no longer scoring hits! All The Time and La La Land are both great pop tracks, whereas her bigger stuff I just found a bit too radio-ready.

I’m not as interested in the latest crop, but that’s because I’m in my mid thirties and I’m not their (main) target. So I understand that a good chunk of their music will be aimed at making radio one playlists etc.
But I’d say all of them have each put out a solid amount of genuinely great pop songs.

Oh Tina did a version? I only knew about Sex On Fire. I’ll have to try hear it.

Not my favourite Olly song, but a decent one.
As manipulated as it all is, I actually think the X Factor has resulted in some pretty good pop records being released, if that's your thing. Little Mix certainly have a strong catalogue for reality-TV stars, and there's tracks by the likes of Alexandra, Leona and the One Direction lads that are pretty good.

The original isn't very well known, a #59 hit in Sweden about ten years back.

Perfectly serviceable.
Again, I adore the original and it's relentlessness so this isn't quite there for me, but still very enjoyable.

Cannot wait for this.
The original is one of my fave Eurovsion-related tracks, and this should suit them to a tee.

To be fair, it was made pretty clear this isn't a single or anything. And they have said they wanted a few mid-tempos/ballads, so for fitting that bill I think it is decent enough.
So long as 8 or 9 of 12 12 tracks are full on Steps bangers then that satisfies me!

I quite like Problem. Not a major favourite, but a perfectly solid example of 'that' sound of the early-mid 2010's.She sounds pretty good on it too I find. I think I may have had my fingers in my ears furing the early-mid 2010s, only listening to 1960s folk music. I guess I'm not fully prepared for what I'm going to find as we move through this thread... It's not exactly my favourite era, but I quick think of some of the biggest hits that I would expect to find on this list should see some decent ones. Especially 2010 - 2013 time, where digital sales meant a million seller genuinely did cross over and was a 'huge hit', though many that weren't will have got there now via streaming.

Bit early for me TBH! I'd prefer any grats to come a bit closer to the album to fuel the excitement closer to the full thing dropping.

Really enjoy the Olly Murs one. Still wish 'Something New' had beat it to the top, but a #1-#14 fall would've been a bit embarrassing so glad also that it didn't.
The Five one is quite interesting. Arguably it's the best track they did and I understand why it would get significant recurrent play, but I think it only sold about 400k at the time so to be over a million is pretty amazing. I think it's 2013 re-entry was when The Big Reunion aired, but given its total now it must be a popular track of choice still.

I imagine that will come 2-3 weeks before the album?
It's third week playlisted on radio two this week, so I imagine October will be What The Future Holds - perhaps another remix or something later on the month.
Then November I imagine a switch to Something In Your Eyes?

I actually think it's a great little pop track. But million seller? Nah.

I know it’s pointless but I’m finding it addictive. Sitting compared to a lot of the rest of the top 40 it’s quite refreshing, even if it is such an ‘easy’ effort.

Meh, I don’t dislike it but I’d never choose to put it on. Hit Em Up Style was much better for me, and was surprised it didn’t do that well in the UK. I seem to remember it was released very late or something at the time by which point it didn’t peak very high.

100k now. That’s pretty good for them in 1.5 days I’d say.
May help make up slightly for inevitably low streams from the other apps.
