Well won't argue, again, it is your own backyard. But I accept the existence of such thing as a "classic". Wouldn't want to go against it if recreating history unless absolutely necessary which in my view is a situation where you have two or more of such classics against each other and have to decide.

Yeah well it is your chart after all but still... I feel it like a prototype of all no1s in the history. What's a chart worth if song like this gets not there. It must have been a super competition of bonafide classics to prevent this reaching no1. Give me a break but is OCS's song a better one?

Sorry but not installing Verve as no1 is a shame. Even if you were a fan of Botswana rain forest relaxing music, this is a must of every pop music listener and chart freak...

There's so many forgotten gems for me in these charts. Have to admit I haven't heard that Alvin Stardust song for ages and I sometime tune in 70s radio.

Smashing Pumpkins are huge with this one. Truly deserves to go all the way up.
I can also recognize One of Us as a lovely melancholic track but it got overplayed and I can't listen to it now much more.
Gin Blossoms use to be one of my favorite bands in mid 90s. Don't even know what happened to them, Have to check Wiki or something.

Shame Lightning Crashes never got any higher. Way better than anything Cast did:-)

I go for Lump and Dubstar this week. Very good songs although from a different musical corners.
I'm seeing a slow attack of Earthsong. I need to say I loved it back then but got sick of overplay very soon and now I can't stand it. If I had my chart it would be a bona fide no1 for sure.
Gold is something I couldn't get out of my head for a very long time humming it and singing alone. Don't know why as it is not the best of Prince in my own list but for some reason I found the melody immortal.
We used to freak out when Insomnia was on radio and thought it was creepy and serious. Don't think of it much thesedays though.

I thought Ozzy was great in this era. Never liked his impersonation and image but all No More Tears and Ozzmozis tracks are fantastic.

Actually I don't think Universal is no1 material but let's be it.
Huge expectations for Beatles didn't bring any fruit - I was sort of... well... not that much moved by this piece.
Quite fond of Satellite and Simply Red one.

Oh yeah - the justice is done, Wonderwall hits no1. Now let's go for Disco 2000. Love it to death. And I also loved the actress from the video, who is she? I was just all over that young woman fantasizing.
You have Bolton twice in last two charts as new entry.

Now I can't wait if you allow yourself to repeat the great injustice of UK chart with Oasis not getting the no1. Certainly, I didn't expect Meatloaf grabbing it in such a competition - Coolio is a classic too, can't imagine anyone not putting this on top as well.

I wouldn't be telling this into you getting Def Leppard up there.
Nice one from Madonna, very emotional song liked it a lot back in those days.
Again, great stuff in the whole chart!

Nothing personal but... ever since Cast topped your chart I liked any other top 10 entry more than Alright:-)

I'm not a huge fan of boy bands, except for few exceptional songs (let's say "Pray" by TT) but I have to say I couldn't get out of my head that Backstreet Boys one for some reason.

But anyway - there's so much good stuff in charts again it's hard to choose. I would have to go for a heavy turnover if I had a chart on my own, probably week by week new no1.
