I may be missing something here but why isn't the Mike Smith episodes being shown? Mike Smith didn't sign to have his repeats shown due to issues he had with the BBC at the time. Then he died and his widow respected his wishes. As a result they can't be shown. Thanks Robbie.

Only four more Mike Smith episodes to go and if you want to watch them... I may be missing something here but why isn't the Mike Smith episodes being shown?

You're right it is odd watching Christmas songs being played in the searing summer heat.
It's the Christmas episode this Friday for 30 minutes at 7.30pm and then 60 minutes at 11pm. Also this Friday at 8pm is The Story of 1986 followed by the Big Hits of that year at 9pm. TOTP '86 starts the following Friday (13 July) at 7.30pm and again at 11pm for 30 minutes.

I wouldn't rule out the possibility of the new Doctor being revealed at the end of the last episode in the series. It will be interesting to see what's going to happen in the end of the series as Peter Capaldi will be in the Christmas episode this year.

Not sure if people have watched this 1st time around, but I absolutely love it, brilliantly written, acted and shot, it's slow, but that's the point. Season 1 is being repeated on BBC2 next week, I'll check what day, I'd recommend watching it, if only for the invisible dogs... Agreed. I wouldn't let the synopsis put anyone off either "Comedy series about two friends who go in search of their hearts' desire with a couple of metal detectors." If you enjoyed "This Country" you will enjoy this. It's on Monday at 10pm.

It's set to air on BBC One on Friday 2 September at 9pm according to RadioTimes. Only for 30 minutes though sadly. Still, looking forward to it none-the-less.

Welsh band by the name of Riding Hood. A local welsh band currently doing a couple of gigs and radio shows. You can find them on www.myspace.com/ridinghoodmusic. Being a big supporter you can download their album (Riding High) on 7digital.com. Their debut single off the album is called Ransom (no release date as I can find). I have been a fan since I had the pleasure of meeting and hearing them live when they recorded a session at BRFM my local community station. Great stuff.

Simon Cowell mentioned that the song would be available on iTunes but didn't mention 7Digital. I think it's a bit unfair that 7Digital don't get as much publicity as iTunes. not on itunes yet, still pre-order . I don't mind Itunes but I don't like the format much. WMA or MP3 is preferred. However though, I will be in line for the download tonight.
