My collection is 'now' ( ) complete! I have Now 13 onwards on CD (only buying them secondhand as 30 was the first one I actually bought at the time) and the first 12 via the reissues/first time CD issuing.

I thought they would go back to 1979 rather than forward to 1985, as Madonna; Bruce Springsteen; Kate Bush (post 1982); Phil Collins; Prince are currently out of bounds which blows a fairly big hole in compiling a 1985 Yearbook.

I'm not at all surprised that NOW 1979 is next, the announcement of 12" 70s was a big hint. I have no problem what year it is both 1979 and 1985 were great years.
I think we definately will get NOW '85 Yearbook at some point it's just a matter of when.

Carrie appears to be a re-recording on Now 80 extra I bought NOW 80 Yearbook extra at the weekend and played it today whilst WFH.
That version of Carrie is definitely not the original. I believe it must be the rerecording from his 1988 Private Collection album.

There's a good thread error listing NOW CD errors, the blog is very good as it looks at compilation albums in general. One of the theories given on the omitted tracks is it the fees could have been too much that the rights holders were asking. apopfansdream.wordpress.com/words/now-cd-errors/

'Hit me with your rhythm stick' on Now Yearbook 1979 ends very abruptly. I can't remember if it always does that, or if it has a bit cut off the end.

Apparently (according to Amazon) the 1985 Yearbook is next! There's no track list yet though.
