Alesso ft. Tove Lo - Heroes (we could be)
Weeks at number 1: 2 Weeks on chart: 19
This is Alesso's only song to chart on my personal chart so far and Tove Lo's second. It debuted at number 6 in UK and ended up spending more than half a year in top 100. I rarely enjoy an average EDM track, but Tove Lo's vocals added something special to this song and as a result it ended up on my Spotify playlist and got to number 1 after several weeks in top 10.

Agnes Obel is fantastic - I loved the Aventine album, but Riverside is definitely a highlight from her.

Alicia Keys - Brand new me
Weeks at number 1: 1 Weeks on chart: 14
Brand new me was the second single from the album Girl on fire. It wasn't as successful as the first single from the album, reaching only number 92 in UK. It debuted at number 3 on my chart going up and down in top 10, finally on its 6th week it went 8-1.

Alicia Keys - Try sleeping with a broken heart
Weeks at number 1: 1 Weeks on chart: 20
Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart was released as the third single in the UK from her fourth studio album, The Element of Freedom. It peaked at number 7 in UK and number 1 on my chart. It debuted at number 11 and peaked at number 7 first, then finally on its 12th week it reached the top spot. I didn't care that much about Alicia before, but with this album she finally won me over!

Alicia Keys - Un-thinkable (I'm Ready)
Weeks at number 1: 1 Weeks on chart: 9
Un-thinkable (I'm ready) debuted at number 25 on my chart and the following week it flew to number 1. I don't exactly remember what was the reason, but most likely it's because of the music video being released. But it disappeared just as fast, spending only 9 weeks in top 30. It was released only as a digital single in UK and did not chart there.

All Saints - All hooked up
Weeks at number 1: 2 Weeks on chart: 16
The final single from the Saints and sinners album was released in January 2001. Allegedly, band members faced a lot of challenges including endless arguments and decided to call it a day to clean the air. The single had almost zero promotion due to disagreement because of the word "ass" being used in the song, All saints pulled out of several TV performances and as a result the single peaked at number 7 in UK falling down to number 28 the following week. Ouch! It spent 2 weeks at number 1 on my chart.

All Saints - Black coffee
Weeks at number 1: 2 Weeks on chart: 23
This was the second single from Saints and sinners. It debuted at number 1 in UK and on my chart as well, receiving critical acclaim. The song was produced by William Orbit, the producer of Madonna's Ray of light.

All Saints - One strike
Weeks at number 1: 1 Weeks on chart: 14
9 years after their first attempt to make a comeback, All Saints got back together and recorded their 4th studio album. What I have always liked about them is their continuous re-invention. One strike failed to chart in UK, but took the top spot on my chart.

All Saints - One woman man
Weeks at number 1: 1 Weeks on chart: 12
Third and final single from Red flag was released in October 2016 and like all singles from the album failed to chart in UK, the album did pretty well peaking at number 3. They didn't even bother with the music video for the single. Appleton sisters prove once again that they're pretty good vocalists though. 1 week on top spot on my chart and 12 weeks in total.

All Saints - Pure shores
Weeks at number 1: 1 Weeks on chart: 21
Pure shores was the first single from All Saints' second album produced by William Orbit and received acclaim from music critics. It is probably their best-known song along with Never ever. Pure shores was also a commercial success all over the world except US where it wasn't released nor promoted. It debuted at number 1 in UK and on my chart as well.

All Saints - Rocksteady
Weeks at number 1: 1 Weeks on chart: 15
This was the first single release in 5 years. All Saints were on a hiatus all this time trying to pursue solo careers, but... It was also the last single to appear in UK's top 100 peaking at number 3 thanks to a PR stunt with Girls Aloud. What is it with girl bands always arguing? Geez. They had some schedule problems with shooting the video as well. It took me a while to get into it and I like reggae influence in it. Another number 1 for All Saints on my chart, this time with Rocksteady. Unfortunately, only one more song would be released as a single from the album, but due to low sales of the album all promotion and the tour were cancelled.

All Saints - This is a warWeeks at number 1: 2 Weeks on chart: 11 This is a war was a promotional single from All Saints' fourth studio album and it caught my attention on the first listen. I wasn't sure it's going to be released as a single at all, but ever since downloads and streams started to rule our world, I have made my own rules for my chart - it doesn't really matter if it's a single or not, if I think it deserves to be on my chart, so be it. This is a war debuted at number 1 and stayed on top for 2 weeks, but dropped to number 7 on its third week. Still a decent run for a promotional single.

All Saints - War of nervesWeeks at number 1: 1 Weeks on chart: 41 Ironically, all of their releases (except Lady Marmalade, which peaked at number 6) from their debut album peaked at number 2 except this one. War of nerves was the fifth and final single from the album and obviously it was not going to be a commercial success. It peaked at number 7 in UK and apparently the song is a response to the death of Diana, Princess of Wales. This is also my favourite All Saints song and I think it is a shame it is not remembered, but with hardly any promotion due to problems within group and Melanie's pregnancy (if the timeline is correct), what could you expect and it doesn't really sound radio friendly, does it? However, 41 weeks on my chart is quite a record!

Anastacia - Left outside alone
Weeks at number 1: 1 Weeks on chart: 17
Left outside alone was the lead single from Anastacia's third album and was a truly turning point in her career. While US was still ignoring her, the rest of the world embraced her and her music, including UK, where she finally achieved her first top 3 single. Left outside alone was also praised by critics. It would spend 1 week at number 1 on my chart with 17 in total in top 60.

Anastacia - One day in your life
Weeks at number 1: 2 Weeks on chart: 36
One day in your life was the second single from Freak of nature. It almost became her second top 10 hit in UK, but ended up at number 11 eventually. There are 2 versions of the song, I prefer the "international version", it sounds more radio friendly. Big hit for Anastacia on my chart, spending 2 weeks at number 1!

Anastacia - Sick and tired
Weeks at number 1: 1 Weeks on chart: 18
And another number 1 for Anastacia, the second single from the third album. It managed to hit number 4 in UK as well and becoming a hit all over the world (once again, except US). The single also helped the album to get back to number 1 in UK. Only 1 week at number 1 on my chart, but what a song!
